Who could we do without?

Seeing as one of the major restrictions on the club getting out of trouble is financial, who then could we sell or let go?

Whos sale would free up finances without having any impact on the first team?

Obviously there is Baston.... This guy would surely generate some sort of decent transfer fee and free up some wages also

Ki... Personally, I think that he brings naff all to the table. probably a small transfer fee and I've got no clue what his wages are like. One thing is for certain he is no gutsy player. We could do so much better by getting players from the championship.

Jeff.... TRhis guys attitude stinks! I don't like him! He just seems happy to pick up the wages. Getting rid of this guy has got to free up some wages? Hopefully generate some sort of transfer fee?

Fernandez.... 3rd choice centre-back at the moment? He cost us £8.5M......... Could we get at least some of that back? please?

Do you think that we could get £20M for that lot? Also as some suggested in another thread we could cash in on Sigi. Get £20M for him and we have raised £40M and probably freed up a hell of a lot of wages!

Pretty much just dreaming here! But what are your thoughts?

Even in an awful season so far, Siggy is the stand out performer and even he looks lost at times.
If you'd taken him out of the mix in August we'd have maybe three points by now?
He and Fabianski are two players we need to build upon.
Llorente could also prove his worth with better service and the opportunity.

Get rid of the players that have never been worth a damn, keep the ones that have been better in the past.

Try to buy players that make the former stars look like footballers again.

£20 million for that lot:

Baston : probably a loan unless he stays

Fernandez we would not get much if anything

Montero no chance he's injured

Ki - Unfortunately there are tensions between china and South Korea so unless it was ok'd by the Sourh Korean government I can't see ki going there. But if they did ok it we could potentially make a mint there.
