Swans Trust Meeting on 21:36 - Dec 5 by Watchman | yup and also there would a lot more money on one side than the other with no guarantee of winning |
At the end of the day this all comes down to the guy that wanted investment "to grow the club" when the truth is, he was desperate to get some serious money in his hands cause he was sailing by the seat of his pants personally, he probably owed money right left and centre, maybe still does who knows.

Swans Trust Meeting on 21:39 - Dec 5 by Wingstandwood | Having to attend a football match with bodyguards would sort of send a message that they're in rather a precarious position? But there again they're so greedy for VIP status, hospitality, privileges, access to exclusive personal acquaintance/to mix with rich big business contacts....... and to mix with the famous they'd do absolutely anything. The dirty, despicable, grubby, shameless little deal they struck to have a seat in their beloved directors box (after their treachery) just shows what self-serving filth they really are. The hatred will grow and it wont help the club because many won't renew season tickets knowing those scumbags are taking the p#ss . Even Petty had the decency to f#ck off! |
Spot on This deal to keep their seats i'd like to see that in writing if it exists at all

Swans Trust Meeting on 21:39 - Dec 5 by barry_island | He was there at the back of the room and was thanked for his efforts by a number who were present. It would have been interesting to hear him speak, sadly he did not ask for the microphone. |
So he was standing at the back of the room ? Interesting location for him to choose, says it all for me. A stalwart trust member standing down would and should be up front handing over to the next person all smiles and thanks regardless of the situation. These fckrs really don't see how easy they are to read. And yes, of course he knew, hiding at the back, actions speak louder than words. Like a dog who knows he has fckd up, he hides and gives the game away. Fck my fcking eyes Daz pot ! [Post edited 5 Dec 2016 21:49]

Swans Trust Meeting on 21:38 - Dec 5 by Loyal | Tenko would like it known by text message he was and never will be a body guard. 👠|
Dai is a good guy used to sort my car insurance out for me about 30yrs ago when he was living on Eaton Rd, last time I saw him he was having a spot of lunch in the Plough and Harrow over Llansamlet, that was a few years ago.
| |
Swans Trust Meeting on 21:51 - Dec 5 with 1698 views | NOTRAC | Little was the man who said that the Trust should not sell their shares under any circumstances.Of course he should not have been consulted now as the whole problem relates to his advice. What other football takeovers has he been involved in? It's all right to say that he is 100% Swansea, but we should not have been looking at someone to cheer the team, but the best and most experienced advice we could get.

It's fair to say the first takeover investigation resulted in this advice from Dai. I would go as far to say that's the reason why the Trust were excluded from the sale to Levine and Kaplan, as that advice I have no doubt would have been repeated. Further proof if any is needed that the whole thing was as shady as shady thing standing in the shadows in shadesville. Legal action is inevitable. [Post edited 5 Dec 2016 21:56]

Swans Trust Meeting on 22:00 - Dec 5 with 1584 views | Landore_Jack | An interesting point raised by one supporter is that the Trust need to be more vocal to the media. That includes tv media and national newspapers. The Trust need to get their message across to all Swans fans. That clearly isn't happening especially when you talk to fans on match days. The American owners will not appreciate the negative publicity and this could damage their reputation. The Trust has been let down badly by the Western Mail and Evening Post. I can understand the Trust not being to vocal early doors as if there was any chance of developing a relationship with the new owners the negative publicity would be counter productive, but if that possibility is gone then the Trust may well resort to that option

The only time they will get involved is if it means they have to travel up and down the leagues on a rainy Tuesday, as long as the club are in the Prem then they will say nothing as all access to the great and the good will be denied them

Swans Trust Meeting on 22:08 - Dec 5 with 1514 views | barry_island | Phil speaks very well and answered all of the questions fired at him. I didn't get the impression that any legal action is inevitable. I will keep my own counsel on what I think our Supporter Director may or may not have known throughout the whole sale and whether that has weakened the trust position considerably.

With the way things have gone with those scumbag pieces of sh1t Levien and Kaplan, perhaps we should have sold to Moores and Noell... When it comes to a complete lack of investment in the team, alienating the entire fan base, atrocious decision making, and a downright ignorance of even the most basic and rudimentary football concepts and principles, there's literally no way those two other guys can possibly do worse than what Levien and Kaplan have done thus far. It's only been 6 months that they've owned the team and they have done as pathetic and disgraceful a job as possible. Literally every decision they have made has been so dreadful and misguided you almost think that they're taking the piss. It's truly ridiculous beyond words. [Post edited 5 Dec 2016 22:09]

And why was that? I take it that he did his due diligence on those two. What did he find out about Moores and Noell that made them unqualified or improper to buy our club?

His advice was not to sell under any circumstances. He did not relate that advice purely to Moores and Noell. The fact that he was and has continued to be a co opted Trust member, must have played a large part in the Trusts attitude to the sale of shares. In the circumstances it is ridiculous that he has been the person the Trust has used to look at legal action .There is possibility that perhaps the Trust should have been looking at suing him and his firm for bad advise.

Swans Trust Meeting on 22:16 - Dec 5 with 1383 views | Nookiejack | The Reluctance of the Trust to take legal action is staggering. What is the point of a £900k war chest if you are not going to spend it going to war. The Balance of probabilities is in the Trust's favour. If the Trust doesn't do anything millions will disappear from the club in Stan Kroenke type fees. Wouldn't be surprised if the Yanks have paid themselves a fee for succeful takeover. The Trust wouldn't know a thing about this as doesn't appear to receive Management Accounts. Just seems very very fishy why Trust Board continues to delay. Make a decision.

The reason was that these two did not want Jenkins or co still on board. Jenkins had his pay off from Levien and Kaplan and was stilll able to be involved in the club with a handsome salary...............greed and partial control.
