Corners on 17:23 - Feb 6 with 1400 views | jojaca | Need a big old fashioned no nonsense type of defender who will win most balls in the air to partner Ash. Huth of Leicester was good example today. We have no headers of the ball in current first eleven. Outside that you are only looking at Bartley and Gomis. [Post edited 6 Feb 2016 17:42]

Corners on 17:27 - Feb 6 with 1369 views | Morfa_Same | I don't think anyone will disagree with you there. The Italians are the masters at defending so hopefully Frankie can get us organised.
Corners on 17:29 - Feb 6 with 1352 views | jacaranda | We don't have big defenders and should adapt our corners to suit. We play better on the floor, so ...
Corners on 17:33 - Feb 6 with 1329 views | A_Fans_Dad | I am less worried about not scoring from our corners as I am at our inability to defend against theirs. The difference of course is Bony, as a striker he had the knack of knowing where the ball was coming in and defended really well against them. Is Fer the man to do it for us now?
Corners on 17:54 - Feb 6 with 1281 views | stonedroses | poor defending from 2 corners has cost us 4 points in 2 games fact!

This. Too slow to react at both ends.

Corners on 20:14 - Feb 6 with 1146 views | Chief | our whole set up has to change. yes we have to try and counter what the opposition through at us, but committing more men to protect our goal or standing on the posts or something has to be a shout it cant get much worse. As for our offensive corners, I really don't know, when our centre backs do connect, they get no where near scoring. everyone else is too small. id say go short, but to who? getting siggy in a position to shoot is difficult enough in open play let alone when the opposition defence is organised

Definitely need a centre half whatever league we are in. The corner problem needs to be sorted.

It's not really a centre half problem though is it? We don't have a lot of height in our team so we're always going to struggle to win the first ball from corners, part of the reason why Bony on the front post was so effective for us. Exemplified today by having Gylfi marking Adebayor from corners because our two CB's were marking their two.

Agreed but if you look back at goals conceded alot have them have been down to Ash and Fede, centre halves need to be stronger.
