His goal for Spurs v Newcastle I think is one of the best individual efforts you will see. Must be on the tinternet somewhere. | ![](/images/avatars/9533.gif) |

Not the place to not pick here, but what you have posted is wrong on both counts, just hope he pulls through, probably one of the greatest strikers this country has produced | ![](/images/avatars/8653.gif) |

No argument there. What I posted was irrelevant anyway, so I've deleted it. | ![](/images/avatars/10558.gif) |

Jimmy Greaves on 16:44 - May 4 with 1571 views | Dull1Thomas | The Spurs team he played for in the 60s was outstanding, probably the best football I'd seen until Toshack's 1st season in division 1. And Greaves was the most brilliant player of them - never forgave Alf Ramsey for leaving him out of the 1966 world cup team and I don't blame him. Had he played I'm sure England wouldn't have needed two dodgy goals and a Russian linesman to win. I always looked out for their results because eCliff Jones played for them (and they wore white). GK 1 Pat Jennings DF 2 Joe Kinnear DF 3 Cyril Knowles MF 4 Alan Mullery DF 5 Mike England DF 6 Dave Mackay (c) MF 7 Jimmy Robertson FW 8 Jimmy Greaves FW 9 Alan Gilzean MF 10 Terry Venables MF 11 Frank Saul Substitutes: MF 12 Cliff Jones How much would that lot cost at today's prices? Hope he makes a full recovery. | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) |
