Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Thought I read somewhere that City were releasing him this summer? Wasn't that bothered when he left but would have him back on a free.
The guy was limited when he was with us. He spent one year on the bench at City and one year on the bench at WBA. He's not developed in the two years he's been away, and that's a pity because I believe if he'd stayed under Laudrup he would have flourished (in the first year at least). He was completely suited to the way Laudrup wanted to play. I know he might be available free/relatively cheap, but I think there are better ways to spend our money.
Out of the players City are apparently getting rid of Rodwell stands out as one that might suit us, but there are bigger names and bigger payers being talked about than us. The other concern is his injury issues - read somewhere earlier in the year that the reason he's been perma-crocked whilst at City is that he has gone through a growth spurt and has grown about 6cm. Unsurpisingly for someone in his early 20s, his body is struggling to come to terms with this a little and it's meant that someone who was a bit injury prone anyway has picked up extra injuries, and found it difficult to shake off niggling ones. I could just imagine him joining as a 'big' signing somewhere and not making his debut until much later in the season.
Insert something witty here

Seems to be a different name mentioned every day at the moment. Must be easy being a journalist and just pick random names out of the air;
Stephen Kingsley Ravel Morrison Jack Colback Alex McCarthy Lukasz Fabianski Tom Ince Jonny Williams Jordy Clasie
Will be interesting come August how many of these will actually join.
Out of them I'd be extremely happy with:
McCarthy - If the rumours of a ten mill bid correct for Vorm, I'll drive him to whatever club is mad enough to pay that myself. This lad from what I have seen looks quality, and still young.
Jonny Williams - Couldn't get in palaces team but would be more suited to our style. Would still only be a squad player though in my opinion.
Clasie - Quality. But never going to happen.
The rest, no thanks.....

Out of that list.
Forgot to mention Kingsley. Would also be happy to see him here.
Wouldn't have Tom Ince anywhere near here, not good enough. You only had to see against us how much palace improved when they hooked him. Championship player who thought he was a champions league player. Rubbish.

According to our colleagues of the newspaper "Le Soir", the Standard and Swansea have reached an agreement regarding the transfer of Michy Batshuayi to the Welsh Premier League. The ball is now in the court of the Belgian striker, who has never hidden his desire to reach a more upscale championship.
Michy Batshuayi, which renewed the contract binding the Standard last summer, could join Swansea for an amount higher than the clause in it, or eight million euros.
Last summer, the Welsh club, 12th in the Premier League last season, had already tried to draw in his nets striker Standard, remind our colleagues of the newspaper Le Soir . But the offer, estimated at three million euros, was then declined by the Liège direction. If Swansea returned to the charge today is partly because his striker Wilfried Bony Ivorian will be very courted this summer and is expected to leave the club Chairman Huw Jenkins, we say crazy striker Standard .
Michy Batshuayi, who has never hidden his desire to leave the Standard after the late season, could therefore pick up the transfer abroad of his dreams for many months and join the prestigious Premier League.
