The Spectator, Assistant Editor thoughts on QPR on 12:00 - May 8 with 5281 views | QPRski | Great article with many home truths. I particulary like the line "I love that moment when you walk through the little doorway at the top of the stadium and see the pitch for the first time"....so, so true! p.s. Just disagee with the paer about Brentoford support.

The Spectator, Assistant Editor thoughts on QPR on 12:54 - May 8 by Konk | I bet you would - no chance, though. I hate bullies and you should never have a go at a parent in front of their kids, but I’m not sure I could sit near Michael Gove or Toby Young without at least passing them a note saying, “You are a cu nt”. |
I've seen Gove so many times, but he's always with his kid. And as much as every molecule in my body is urging me to unleash "YOU MASSIVE C**T!!" in his face, I just can't do it in front of a kid | | | | Login to get fewer ads
The Spectator, Assistant Editor thoughts on QPR on 15:12 - May 8 with 4964 views | DylanP | No idea about the writer as a person, but the article is excellent -- a perfect sumation of the joy/pain and suffering of being a QPR fan. There were parts that made me nod knowingly, parts that made me laugh out loud, but the most poignant part was where it said: "Watching my children’s expressions switch from hope to disappointment, I sometimes regret having steered them towards QPR." I absoultely share this sense of guilt. I force my kids to be QPR fans with the absolute knowledge that I am dooming them to a lifetime of disappointment and heartache. Who does that to an innocent child????
