Vazquez did ok yesterday, at least for the 1st hour or so. He made some good runs and hassled their back 4 quite well. He gets around the pitch well and sometimes Managers seem to like that (similarly Schecter last season). Odd really, as one would assume a Manager would prefer someone who can hit a barn door from 5 paces to a striker that can't but there you go. If he could just somehow get a goal he may be of some use but in the League Ngog and Emnes are ahead of him IMO.

Some quality finishes there, but the Vasquez that's been playing for us looks a totally different player to that one, he's had so many chances in front of goal you'd think he'd have put one or two in mun. Monk needs to let him loose for the 21's a few goals there could help him a treat.
Maybe hes not used to playing in front a crowd? Always remember players saying Coates was a most gifted player, but went to pieces in front of the crowd.

Agreed, but we are in the top flight now, its obvious to see hes not making the grade at present and doesn't look like thats going to change in the near future. As Loh says, send him back for his sake aswell as ours!

Well after seeing his opening salvo at Goodison I thought its really beyond the stage where you can comment much more ;that was until I read thisd latest attempt to make him out to some sort of asset to us/ We love our club, we want to win, we want our players to at least show some guts;this fella really is the worst . Its how it is and its incredible he s with us.
No need to have played him at all as Lita ,whilst hardly much cop does have bottle.

I would be carefull about wanting our players to show 'bottle' or 'guts' in that particular fashion.
The entire team was starting to show tendencies of violent outlets of frustration after getting 2 goals behind.
To be honest, I prefer our cards being for talking back at the ref and not because we are close to ending someones career. I certainly don't hope this is a sign of things to come.

Fck sake a video?? Anyone can get a video of some decent finishes etc togethor. That's a load of sh1t. What good is it if he's doing it in a reserves division? You cannot compare it to the premier league..
Low on confidence or not we havnt got the games to be giving players starts that are not going to perform to the best of their ability!!
