Dale's game with Oldham Athletic last just nine minutes after the referee called an end to proceedings in farcical circumstances.

There was no doubting the decision to call the game off, but big question marks have to be made over the decision to start the game in the first place.

The pitch was waterlogged in several areas, and there were numerous occasions in the brief time that the game took place where the pitch was having a detrimental effect on proceedings. Elding came close for Dale after taking advantage of the conditions and Lillis had to be careful in the first 20 seconds to keep hold of a low drive.

Obviously no announcement has been made about when the game will be replayed, but supporters are advised to keep hold of their ticket stubs.

"Using Tuesdays match ticket fans can obtain entry in tokyo's this Friday night for just £3, instead of the usual £8/£10, with all drinks priced at just 90p. "

An hour after the match was abandoned, this is all the (old) information to be found on the OS. Maybe, before making a quick statement like the Biffo boss, Dunphy & Co are weighing up the options. It would be a PR disaster if the club simply expected fans to pay the full price again for the replay.

I doubt anybody will be asked to pay anymore to watch the rearranged match. The Tokyo thingy was up earlier in the day.
