Many Saints fans have seen this coming. You can go back to December to see that things were getting worse and yet, the owners refuse to take the blinkers off. The team are not showing any signs of a relationship with the manager which to an ordinary supporter like me (66years) seems BONKERS.
Do we say goodbye to him now? Who is there to replace him? Is 8 games enough to turn things around? So many questions, but the answers can only come from the owners. So far they have remained silent which again shows that the relationship with the supporters is also non-existent.
Clubs these days have drifted away from supporters to the dark side....MONEY,, with little respect for the foundations of a club, the supporters. I really hope another Great Escape is around the corner, but all I can see is doom and gloom. COYR, YOU CAN DO IT.

I am not a pessimist but the only game where I can see us getting any points at all is the Bournemouth home game. I now believe we are going down, but it might be a good move for the club.
It’s time to get rid of those players who aren’t pulling their weight, and bring through some of the youngsters who want to play for the club.
Hopefully we can build a team in the Championship that can bounce back and another rebuild can begin.
We just need to find a decent manager, and another Rickie Lambert, well to start with.

Re Sambats comments..
If a new manager is " on the cards" because the present one is getting his - then I'd go for Alan Pardew (who will also be unemployed in the summer).
He took us from the L1 drop zone and narrowly misseda play-offs in his first season, signed some good names (Fonte and Lambert) and we picked up the JPT trophy along the way. The why's and wherefores of his dismissal are history now, but he wasn't the only casualty in the Cortese regime.

It's easy to say that he's failed at West Brom. but tbf ..they looked dead in the water at Christmas time, and like us can't score enough goals, despite a fairly good squad.
Pardew took the job because he likes a challenge but hadn't been a total failure since Cortese gave him the boot in 2010. He did half a good job at Newcastle despite Mike Ashley's tight-fisted attitude to buying players.

I say let bygones be bygones at give Pardew another chance ..and he can bring Rondon with him if he comes.
