I don't think there can be any doubt he has been a disappointment with limited hand time. However averaging a goal every 2 games for Braga and surprisingly skilful for a big centre forward I think with some coaching and confidence we can salvage this signing. After all we might aswell as there is no sign of another striker coming in. |

Was 4th official at the Bournemouth v Norwich game yesterday. After that performance he still gets to be an official at a premier league game. Tells you all you need to know about the premier league. If he had made those decisions in a game involving one of the big teams he probably would have been in league 1. |

Could they have made any more mistakes in the past few months Took over a month to look for a manger then appointed the man who didn't want the job who had overseen 1 win in a month. Generally the worst attempts ever at appointing a manager to extent that it was embarrassing. Constantly talking about working being the scenes and there has not been a single player coming into the club. Sold an England international to a rival who has just setup two goals in twenty minutes Vice chairman commenting on Twitter about other teams signings belittling them when they are doing far more than his own club. If anybody can defend them after this you are in denial. |

It's a shame Leigh Dineen did a bit less tweeting about other teams transfer business and concentrated on his own clubs. |
| Forum Thread | These so called improvements under Curtis. at 18:29 15 Jan 2016
1 win in 7 games. 1 win since December 8th. 7 goals scored. 11 conceded. Embarrassed by a league two team in the cup. I'm sure you will all agree with these kind of improvements will see us relegated by March. But don't worry our board will say nothing and do nothing. Even Vincent Tan spent some money to try and keep Cardiff in the league. Pathetic all round. |

| Forum Thread | Behind the scenes at 20:42 11 Jan 2016
Evening post always quoting people from the club saying there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes. All I can say has a team ever allegedly worked so hard behind the scenes with absolutely nothing to show for it in terms of a manager or any signings. Our board couldn't attract a seagul to the coast it seems. |
| Forum Thread | Leicester - An example at 18:09 10 Jan 2016
They utilised a few fair squad players today - Wasikewski, Chirwell, De Laet, Inler and Dyer and their passion, desire, commitment and ability were exceptional compared to what our players did today. And the main difference is they were playing Tottenham and we played Oxford. Some of those Leicester players haven't had a kick for months but they came into the team and gave 110% and showed the manager why they should be picked and that he can rely on them if required in the league. The message our players portrayed was that they couldn't really be bothered and in no way were any of them trying to push for a place against Sunderland. They cannot be relied on and Bartley, Tabanou, Grimes, Shelvey in particular should be moved on immediately. Martin Emnes and Kris Nordfeldt can be commended for at least trying and performing well. Montero, Gomis, Amat and Cork were well below par. Shelvey, Grimes, Bartley and Tabanou were hopeless. Shelvey and Grimes were slow, lazy, ponderous and dominated by the Oxford midfield. Shepherd was making his debut and was a bit keen on times but to be expected from a young player so you can't really blame him. |

The fact is they simply haven't got a clue what to do. If they really thought Curtis was the man for the job we would have heard something by now. The truth is they have no options on the manager front and are hoping that we can limp to the summer where they appear to be ludicrously thinking that the likes of Rodgers or De Boer are suddenly going to take the job. I find it staggering that a board who have had tremendous success on a tight budget making excellent decisions on previous managers can suddenly look so hopelessly out of their depth. I have heard from fans, the evening post and Wales online saying Curtis would be appointed but still nothing because they don't know what to do. All this rubbish about not rushing the manger appointment that's nonsense again because it's been 5 weeks!!!!!!!! How many teams have taken 5 weeks to either appoint a new manager or confirm the caretaker until the end of the season? This board are not being fair to Alan Curtis, the fans or the players with this pathetic, shambolic situation they have put the club in. |

We can dine out on the theory that we are playing better as much as we want but the fact is United were on top for most of that game and all this talk of the value of each teams squad is rubbish. They have not won in 8, Norwich went there and BEAT them. We have come away with a defeat. Being unluck and brave does not keep you in the premier league results do. We need a manager to get results. All this uncertainty is no good!!! |
| Forum Thread | Frank De Boer at 20:06 1 Jan 2016
The board should go out and make him an offer he can't refuse. He is an excellent coach and his teams press high up the pitch and create lots of chances. |
| Forum Thread | This season will not end well!!! at 10:09 1 Jan 2016
Curtis in charge until end of season. What a way to treat a legend putting him in this position with no help! This is very dangerous and similar to the John Carver, Neil Adams and Terry Connor situations at their clubs. Jenkins clearly going to be signing the players. Well this should ensure we see more players to the calibre of N'Gog, Eder and Tabanou. We simply need a new manager now to guide us out of this situation and someone who can identify players who is qualified. And Frank De Boer? More chance of Frank Skinner taking over. |
| Forum Thread | Manager situation is a shambles at 17:33 22 Dec 2015
One or the other Huw Jenkins needs to make a decision on a new manager. If Alan Curtis is their guy until the end of the season they should come out and say. All this uncertainty is not good for the fans and probably the players are finding it frustrating. We are bouncing from game to game with more speculation not sure who will be in charge and there is nothing coming from the board. This has to be one of the most protracted, shambolic searches for a manger ever. It would be a shameless if we were comfortably in mid table but when we are in the relegation zone with 1 win since August it makes the situation 10 times worse. I have heard people saying we need to take our time but quite frankly that is nonsense. Monk was sacked well over two weeks ago and to still be in a state of uncertainty going into the biggest run of games for years is not on. Being in the premier league relegation zone does not give you time to stand still and have a long hard think about things as if we are not careful we could be cut adrift. As it stands I would happily take Poyet or Di Matteo as I think they can both keep us up. As much as a club legend as Curtis is appointing him would be dangerously similar to Terry Connor taking Wolves down and Chris Ramsay taking QPR down. The relegation zone does not stand still and we need a figurehead to guide us out of this mess who will get the respect of the players. |
