exactly! thats what makes me wonder. Obviously the decision won´t have been made without thought, thats what makes me wonder if the club has possible signings in mind who may demand slightly higher wages

the club will no doubt make extra cash from the away end with the amount of northern teams in league one next season but surely increasing the home end prices means there won´t be many new faces coming through the gates. Which is something that is discussed on here week in week out!

With the club in a comfortable financial state, what is the main reason behind the 2 pound increase on the gates? Maybe to free up some extra cash for transfer targets wages? Hopefully!

Can remember the hype when we signed Hodges. Massive let down! Although I can remember the ball being hoofed 50 yards into the air at every opportunity in the Simpson era so was hard for any player to make a decent impression. Can recall watching fireworks going off in the distance in the sandy to shouts of ooo ahhh. Only bit of entertainment we got at the time

Tbf brown wasn't bad it was just that he was 3ft 2 and at the time league 2 teams tended to play more direct
