Good morning, This is the Orlandi's column http://www.am14.net/shame-football-16029/ Today a new week starts and we play Birmingham on Saturday, who managed to stay up during the last minute of the last game, last season. Miracles do happen when you put work and determination together and that is what we are going to do now at Blackpool |

Good morning, This is a Orlandi's monday http://www.am14.net/help-us-lady-luck-15856/ 'I think the club, at last, has realized there were so much to change. We were competing with no physical trainer against teams with astronomical budgets' 'The backing we feel at Bloomfield Road is an amazing sensation, vitamins you have when the world falls apart for a backhand during the match. When the game finished in a draw… ouch… I felt the drop. We need you, Lady Luck' |

Dear, I agree with you that the fans, all of them, are more interested in what the players do on the pitch than on what they can say or write. We are not different in Barcelona. But at the same time, I think it is interesting to find out about certain things that are going on in the clubs and that normally don't come out. Of course they could be more, but I believe that the anecdotes that Andrea explains, like when they got locked in the changing room, or when they arrived to Craven Cottage just 50 minutes before the game or the fact that they used to eat pizzas after the games are interesting. We are talking about personal things that some fans might be interested in. I, for example, would love to know about things that are going on in Barca's dressing room... However, what really surprises me in Andrea's blog is the fact that he talks about you, the fans, week in week out. I guess maybe you don't value that because this is something normal for you but to us, this faithfullness that the english fans show to their clubs is something that we admire. On Wednesday, coming back from London, Andrea text me to tell me how many Blackpool fans were there in Fulham and he was still shocked to see that, in an away midweek game far from Blackpool. This is something that surprises us and we really admire here in Barcelona. I understand that in the situation that the club is, you are more interested in having Andrea, Ranger, Miller or Perkins talking on the pitch instead but I believe that it is also interesting to read about what these players think and how they live the current situation. Those who know Andrea can assure you that he is really struggling. He finds very hard having to write about what is going on in the current situation but he wants to maintain his commitment to the fans and to us. We get his article on Sunday evening, send it to one of our editors, Alfons, who lived in Lancashire for many years and he translates it so it is ready on Monday morning. It is something that we look forward to read every week and we do with the best of our intentions. And we are sorry to see Blackpool in this situation. Not as sorry as you are, of course, but believe me if I say that we want the best for Blackpool FC |
