If you have 25 minutes spare
at 10:55 26 Nov 2024

Oldham, Southend the list goes on. There are other clubs, bigger than us, that have spent time outside the league in recent seasons. Oxford, Luton, Chesterfield, Stockport and Wrexham, Tranmere, Leyton Orient are some of them.

Mariners all at sea against the DC inspired super U's
at 14:50 25 Nov 2024

After the last couple of matches I've paid extra attention to the views of the opposing fans. The consensus, both times, was that we were the better team and should've won comfortably. Interestingly both sets of fans seemed unhappy with their manager and recent performances by the team, This didn't really surprise me with Bradford as they are easily the biggest club in this division and should be right up there really. Grimsby fans being unhappy with Artell, some even saying he should be sacked, I found very surprising. As a club who has recently spent time out of the football league and had a bit of a relegation battle last season you would think they'd be pretty happy with where they find themselves right now. Is this just the general attitude of football fans these days? In that they have unrealistic expectations? Or has it always been like this and they just have more of a platform to voice it now?

Funny that when we win our old friend franksic doesn't have so much to say for himself.

Does make you wonder why they kept playing him if he picked up an injury.

I've watched this guy a few times and I normally quite enjoy his stuff. He was annoying me at the start of this one though but he came good in the end. Well worth a watch.

What you're saying is constructive and your opinion, one that is probably shared by many others, and opens up a debate. Calling Danny and Nicky the Chuckle Brothers have referring to them as PE teachers is both pointless and childish. It's not even like it's remotely amusing either.

Change the record mate. Everyone is bored with reading the same old stuff from you every match. If you fancy coming up with something constructive, rather than childish jibes, then you might get a better response.

Is there a more difficult team to predict than Col U? I guess if you always predicted 1-1 you'd be doing pretty well but if you predict based on form or league position then Col U are pretty much guaranteed to trip you up.

I believe there were problems on both the A12 and A120 yesterday afternoon/evening with the area around the stadium gridlocked which caused issues with the parking at the ground.

Looks like 1958/59 was the first season where the bottom two divisions weren't North and South as they had been previously. I think there's an argument to bring that structure back although might be even more of a struggle for us given that there are more "Southern" teams in League One than League Two right now.

Does anyone know when the current structure of 20, 24, 24 and 24 in the top four divisions replaced the previous 22, 22, 24 and 24?

Also if anyone knows of any other changes to the makeup of the top four divisions it will save me researching it.

Such a poor goal to concede. Flanagan is aware there are two players in the box but instead of demanding someone picks one up he makes a half hearted hand gesture, misses the cross and the spare player scores. Woodyard and Anderson didn't do enough to get back in the box and defend either. I think we were lucky not to concede a penalty after equalising, another mistake from Iandolo who is looking particularly suspect right now. Too many players performing poorly and making errors throughout the match. Once again they look bereft of confidence and belief.

He's starting to do a good job, they're on a decent run right now but that's it. Many Wycombe fans were disappointed with how last season went. A bit like players these days, you only need to have a small period of success to be considered successful, it's the same with failure as well, just ask Mark Robins.

Why? What makes you think this guy would be any different/better? This guy reminds me of Mike Ashley. Also if you're not interested in selling why would you even have a discussion or be prepared to entertain an offer? And if you're that interested in buying do you make an offer that forces the seller to have a conversation with you?
