Europa League Prices 07:25 - Sep 6 with 18491 views | jojaca | After hearing news that Valencia were charging £7 a ticket out in spain. I though this would be a chance for the board to drop the prices or do £1 kids scheme promotion, especially after the poor attendances of the previous europa league. But they are charging £25/£30 a ticket in this ecomony with games on the telly. The only glamour tie is Valencia, the other two games are not very attractive for the money you have to pay. I have spoken to friends and family and we will be saving our money and watching it on the telly. The prices should have been a maximum of £15 a ticket for adult and would like to have seen £10.

Europa League Prices on 07:36 - Sep 7 by DJack | Oh well done you! A university educated dick but acting a dick all the same. Unfortunately not everyone in South wales has a regular income stream... ever heard of zero hours contracts as they are "popular" down here. |
I've not even been to uni, not even old enough, well I would be starting in a few weeks had things gone to plan. £20 a game isn't bad, that's the price we paid for an adult ticket in the championship!!!!!!!!!!! (St Gallen/Rubin probably the same standard as Scunthorpe?) [Post edited 8 Sep 2013 0:38]

Europa League Prices on 00:34 - Sep 8 with 1844 views | JBT95 | We won the Cup on February 24th. We beat Chelsea on the 23rd January. It was very likely from these two dates that we'd play in the Group Stage of the Europa League, so really 7 months. It's 33.3p a day from February. [Post edited 8 Sep 2013 0:35]

No offence pal but when I was young free and stupid I had a different outlook to my finances and would happily spend a fortune on entertainment. Strange how dependants, debt and small maters like bills put your priorities into perspective. Do you think we got the pricing right for the previous rounds as the empty seats suggest to me that we most definitely didn't. I personally think selling out the stadium is more important than making a few thousand more.

Your impression is wrong. Nothing for Malmo. Nothing for Petrolul. Nothing for the group stage. 1 point for ManUre. Joke system.

Yes it's easy to lose sight of the point here and that is presumably to achieve a balance between 1) filling the stadium 2) generating revenue and; 3) fairly pricing the tickets for economic circumstances and to grow the supporter base for the future. If we filled the stadium at £20 per ticket I don't think there could be any argument. But we won't, so some experimentation with prices is surely required, even if its something like one adult, one free child; I don't know what the answer is, but it's surely not to have a depressing half empty stadium.

The jack army points thing is a farce Three separate times i have asked leigh dineen politely on twitter and the swans official account and it just gets ignored. All i have asked for is a reason why points were given for cup home and away games last year but not european ones.

Mr Dineen only tends to answer questions on Twitter if the answer paints him and/or the club in a favourable light.

Europa League Prices on 09:32 - Sep 8 with 1722 views | Phaedrus | That seems like an unusual tactic, you would think that public figures would have been doing that sort of thing for generations.
| And what is good Phaedrus, and what is not good. Need we ask anyone to tell us these things? |

Yes well I didn't claim it was a new phenomenon or one exclusive to Mr Dineen or Swansea City.

So it cost £25 for Malmo and we had 15K and it cost £20 for the Romanians and we had an attendance of 12K. Maybe we should consider put the price up?
