I was thinking about that comment yesterday, looking at all the same old sheepish faces.
How he'd gone from 'that side would not finish in the top half of the championship' to 'only 2 or 3 players' needed.

As for Steve, I can't honestly see the benefit in bringing someone in who'll leave first chance he gets a manager job. Why have that inconsistency? Just seems very weird to me. Bit like when Houston brought in Rioch as his assistant. Really weird. |  |

Football is full of stories of people getting promoted by ego and incompetence into areas far beyond their ability.
We've seen enough at QPR over the years. Steve Mclaren is a coach of the very highest quality, and a numpty at PR and Management.....not sure what can be bad here, Cottrill goes and we get a great coach who has spent a few years in Europe.
Harry will never miss out on the interviews, and McLaren will not be out of his depth....all good for me.
