I think just being realistic that even if the fans liked me as manager if I was rooted to the bottom of the table and couldn't get a win I would probably be concerned for my job. I hope it is just talk... Let's be honest, if we had gone down last season the hope was that Marti would be given the chance to rebuild the side in League 1, not let go of. I don't see that this season is any different apart from the fact that it appears that our CEO got our players in off Top Trump cards. It all seemed very impressive at the time but now it appears that these weren't Marti's choices (or he had little input). The problem is if Nourry pulls the trigger who on earth would come here with no money and a truck full of expensive injured players and others that are struggling to be footballers? If Nourry is as good as he thinks he is he should appoint someone with some football nouse to do his job properly and at least help prepare Marti for the fight or for life after a drop. But for me Marti has to stay. He is the manager but this is not all his doing, quite evidently. If Nourry fires him after giving him and Xavi longterm contracts then he will be a totally isolated d*ckhead of the first order.
Think he is just giving an honest assessment of how things are? I'd hope the people who made such a mess of the transfer window feel the same about their performance and the confidence of the owners. Why should the manager leave, who would replace him with that would do better. Alternatively who would we get to replace the work experience lad- just about anybody.
Just home in Lowestoft,at the end of the game I said to my mate, the way marti is walking around clapping and patting his heart, it looks like he’s off. I might be totally wrong but that’s what it looked like to me.
favourite cheese mature Cheddar. FFS there is no such thing as the EPL

I think he really loves the club and supporters. His bosses...not so much. It's all just typical QPR over the last decade. Cardiff could his last game sadly.
Nourry although has made numerous mistakes, personally I don't blame ⁸him
It's the idiots that appointed Nourry to an all encompassing role, who are massively at fault !!
Hoos has to leave now - he said he wanted a rest - if we can get a replacement and Amit, Reuben and Reilly - ideally they all need to leave pronto. Impossible to get rid i think, as owners don't grow on trees....
Maybe Nourry could also take on the role as player coach and his outfield position would be centre forward, of course.

I thought the same thing at the time . He looked emotional at the end there .
Singing Marti’s name loud and prolonged was exactly what I wanted to happen . Send a message to those in the directors box and those on the pitch who have let their manager down .
Made me wonder though if the meetings this week were “ win or you’re gone”.
I see people saying if the owners go then it’s Admin, points deduction and League One and Two
Okay. That’s probably a given.
I’ve said it on here before…… that’ll happen either with them at the wheel or after they’ve jumped ship. Sack Nourry and they’ll just appoint another waster or it’ll only be a matter of time before they go smoking in a gunpowder factory again
Truly sad as I really do think Ruben either wants nothing more than this club to succeed or to walk away quietly
The eternal mess W12
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal
Supporters were brilliant today . The support for Marti was a subtle hint to the powers that be that we won’t be made mugs of and we know where the blame lies.

I felt the same mate , what a shit show.
AND WHEN I DREAM , I DREAM ABOUT YOU AND WHEN I SCREAM I SCREAM ABOUT YOU!!!!!
If Cifuentes gets the sack, we certainly going down and the crowd will be angry and disillusioned
We are not adrift at the bottom. We have a decent manager who in my opinion even with this squad keeps us up.
We have another transfer window and we have had multiple injuries to key players.
It was a decent performance today.
It's like running a club playing scissor, paper, stone.
I personally would be massively angered if Cifuentes goes. He is an up and coming manager with a good career ahead of him. If the board and Nourry can't see that, they have lost the plot dreadfully.
Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.
It'd be completely the wrong thing to do but few managers win 1 in 16 and stay in a job.
As has been pointed out, Marti and Calm signed extended contracts barely two months ago. The compensation alone would be horrendous, and the pleas of poverty institutionalised by Hoos during his tenure sound even more hollow.

One of the more depressing threads to read in a season/decade of depressing threads.
I'm back earlier than planned next week and from what I've been reading here and chums telling me over the last few months, I'm dreading the thought of going. What a monstrous self-inflicted clusterfook of club we've been turned into. Again!
