Sorry to say this is not an isolated incident , a few games this season so far that I've watched although not abandoned has seen scenes very similar to the one highlighted.Kids testosterone levels have to be a factor but when the adults get involved then theres no excuse.

It's at football too, a brawl broke out 2 weeks back at the end of the game. At a previous game a parent had to be told to leave or the game was abandoned, he had tjreatened 2 players on the oppo team.

Kids will get up to handbags but parents cause a lot of it, I've even heard a coach telling his players to get stuck in and hurt people.

Lets face it, people are stupid. I hate people. Give me my dogs any day but you can keep people.

My youngest, who was a decent schoolboy footballer, came home one day aged 13 or 14, and said that he was giving up because of the gross stupidity of the adults on the touchline. He never played an organised game again.

I understand your sentiments, my dogs are everything, non judgemental etc , but I have to say I watched schools rugby cup game 2 weeks ago and the ref was treated with respect called sir when ever addressed so all is not lost. Historically parents have always been the problem and women especially who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a public park when there's a game on.

Absolutely. Totally agree.

It all comes back to the adults. It’s not usually about a club but a particular age group or team where the adults are numpties.

"The incident is set to be investigated by the Welsh Rugby Union" I'd like to think the police would also like to have a say in the matter.

I popped over to Morriston rugby club to pick up tickets for the firework display and hung around to watch a bit of the game. I didn't know it was on.

It was an embarrassment for the club, and from what I saw it was Morriston who were at fault. They were leading, Penlan were down to 13 men (I think) they were going to win. Then it kicked off, from what I could see it seemed to be the adults at fault. There should be a lot of them who are not allowed near the club again.
