Anyone seen the clip of Eastbourne Borough owner Simon Leslie.... 14:07 - Nov 4 with 504 viewsTheOldOakTree

...doing the rounds on tvvatter?

Where's my pitchfork! The great unwashed are revolting.

Turns out, Leslie offered him good money for the U's because of its potential and if he's to be believed, RC wouldn't sell because he thinks he built Col U, it's his baby (let's be honest anything he's sired is a good advert for contraception).

Looks like we are in for an interesting time in the coming months.

Then….
“Are you the Judean People's Front?", “#### off they’re splitters, we’re the People's Front of Judea”

Now….
“Are you the Cowleys Out Brigade?", “#### off they’re splitters, we’re the Cowling Out Brigade”

Time to decide which side to take……..

……or just open the popcorn and watch the latest nail driven into our coffin.

So many questions, first one being is this real/true?

If it is, and the discussion was shut down before an offer was even made, then I'll be furious.

Why? What makes you think this guy would be any different/better? This guy reminds me of Mike Ashley. Also if you're not interested in selling why would you even have a discussion or be prepared to entertain an offer? And if you're that interested in buying do you make an offer that forces the seller to have a conversation with you?

Poll: How many polls will Leadbelly do this season?

Ollie Kensdale made his debut for Eastbourne Borough on Saturday.

Simon Leslie is a colourful individual.

His exchange with Robbie Cowling suggests ( from Leslie's standpoint ) that Colchester United may have been for sale at the time of their meeting.

National League South sounds like a level suited to Leslie.

Colchester United may well be Robbie Cowling's 'baby' and I'm not sure if Simon Leslie would be a suitable guardian for the club - that's a view shared with several clubs at Conference South level.

Colchester United and all the multi faceted add on's that come with it make for quite a confusing picture to any prospective buyer.

It wouldn't surprise me though if we saw a change of ownership.
