we had a flurry of a good run around the time we completed the doube last season only for our performances and results to fall away....

You just get the feeling he is itching to revert to tippy tappy around our own box in the belief we'll wear the opponents out. It may not be a popular opinion but I believe to some degree we are where we are in spite of RM not just because of him. He never seems to see the blindingly obvious (Fisher being the most prominent imo) but perseverance with unsuitable wingbacks is just bizarre. I'm enjoying where we are but could should be much better with a more humble manager, again IMHO.

the last thing I want is to be on here saying I told you so or repeating the same old thing...I was hopeful he had learnt and recent results benefited from this but there are signs he is creeping back to his old ways.
but footie fans will never always agree or always see the bigger picture....its like the stick Laudrup gets for losing interest in his second season . ..what most miss is focus was on the Europa league not the PL.....whilst most supporters were peed off as we were not doing so well in the pl funny how we fell at the first European hurdle under Monk ...I wonder how things may have played out had Laudrup stayed....
