Did anyone else experience the IFollow commentary from Newport ? I have never heard such biased drivel in all my life, I don't know who they were but one of them seemed to have played Pro football. They were continually saying that Newport shouldn't be being beaten by the team at the bottom of the division especially it seemed since that was Rochdale. But all this was eclipsed by their treatment of the Referee. The EFL should have a listen and ask why the Newport pair were allowed to criticise the Ref in such a completely derogatory fashion. It fell short of calling him a cheat, but only just. Admittedly he wasn't the best but for the EFL commentary to be so openly critical and utterly disparaging is unbelievable. This is supposed to be a professional service to football fans not something put together in the back room of a pub. Disgraceful!

I did and thought it was absolutely fine.
They were no more biased than our own commentary team and certainly seemed to understand the game better.
Are you Welsh?
Trevor is a boy's name of Welsh origin. Spelled Trefor in Welsh, Trevor means “large settlement.” It is a habitational name, meaning that it was given to people to describe the place where they lived.

Wonder if he can speak Welsh?
When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

There are plenty of totally biased commentaries on local radio. “Big John McGinley” is a classic example as is Ian “Sticks” Ormondroyd on Pulse Radio. He spends all game slating whoever is refereeing Bradford City.

Bit unfortunate for the females, wouldn't you say?
They where constantly going on about the ref and his decisions etc and how Rochdale where getting the free kicks.. They did mention about Ball getting sent off any time as though they had money on him doing so... We all know that Ball got yellow carded..

McGinley is unashamedly pro- Bolton but is he completely "anti" everyone else? And what Pulse radio chooses to say on their programmes is entirely their business. My point is that iFollow is run by the EFL on behalf of its clubs. Having commentators that are completely biased and who all-but accused the referee of cheating is not a great look and should be investigated, especially when there didn't appear to be an alternative commentary by Rochdale commentators.

Somewhere on the screen there's an option to alternate between home and away commentary.

I know, but I was using the app on Sunday and there didn't seem to be an option. I wondered if it was because it wasn't live? Anyway, we won, screw them!

Big John?
Isn't it SuperJohn, according to Matey FM? Or did that all stop when Jimmy Wagg packed in?
I agree about the bias though.
Other recent examples: Andy Ritchie 'summarising' on Oldham v Rochdale. Alan Gowling 'summarising' on Bolton v Rochdale, where the latter were, memorably, referred to as 'the opposition'.
Surprisingly willing to speak in our favour is FRMSE, although I think he's probably too busy these days to continue that line of work.
