What the hell is going on at Boro? 3-0 down at home to Cardiff at half-time. Wilder on borrowed time potentially?

Poll: And it's hi ho

Watched the first half and Cardiff very good on the counter with Boro very easy to play against and devoid of ideas

They were also booed off so massive 45 coming up

Lewis Baker looking like quite the pick up for them. Knew he was from Chelsea, so assumed he was still pretty young - bloody 27! What a waste of a career, eight years with them.

A real blow not playing Huddersfield Saturday as now was the time to play them. No doubt they will have improved when we do meet for the rearranged game. Seems odd playing an Alex Neill side twice in the opening ten games.

Massimo Luongo revives his World Cup tournament form on his home debut at the Riverside tonight by spending 90 minutes on the bench.

Good result for Eustace and Brum last night, did not think Hogan had a hatty left in him

On the other hand Brucie may not last....West Brom the next FFP disaster?

Can see Wilder ending up at West Brom by Xmas.

Poll: Where will Clive put QPR in his new season preview

Bruce on a VERY hot seat right now. Wilder's warming up too.

Why stop now, just when I'm hating it
Poll: How was the transfer window for you?

How is Bruce still there for goodness sake? Performing like that, with that squad.
Every pre-season preview said the same - this is a top six, probably top four squad, but this manager weighs that down into midtable.

I watched the last 10 minutes and West brom were abysmal, created nothing. Birmimgham looked very well organised though, Eustace doing well there

How did West Brom even appoint Bruce in the first place? Absolute dinosaur.

Not sure if Brom have got the money to get rid of Bruce or Gourlay at the moment.

He does a really nice line in going into clubs, managing them terribly, and the fans get the blame for having a go at him about it - Sunderland, Villa, Newcastle, West Brom...

I started a thread about this time last year about florist being bottom and from memory winless, the rest as they say Is history.
I've always had this fixation about getting ten games under me belt before getting some Idea of where we'll be or how good or bad we'll be.
Long awful long way to go.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Ex Man United helps - like Hughes, but tbh I'd say he's not quite as bad as people think or he wasnt.

He has had his moments

"Bookies favourite" always needs a pinch of salt but hardly the name Boro fans would be after, I'd wager.

Peculiar accent. Apparently he’s been working in Germany the last few years.
