There's a tale in Scottish football (not so funny now in light of head injuries) that Partick Thistle manager John Lambie, when told Thistle striker Colin McGlashan didn't know who he was after a head knock, Lambie replied: 'Great. Tell him he's Pele and get him back on'!

Indeed, but if we win our game in hand there’s going to be a lot of giggly people on this board.

I particularly liked the pace of our passing which was often first touch and precise. This season we've usually been better after a break in regular proceedings which suggests Warburton's coach makes a genuine difference.

Good yes, but it’s a poor Coventry.

Same here. I've had no internet at all for over two hours. A problem with sky broadband network apparently. Resorted to reading a book now.

Coventry as poor as any team we have played this season. Hopefully we can keep all our loan players next year but If we can only keep one of them then personally that would have to be Johansen. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to keep them all next year, they really make such a difference to the team. But if I could only have one it would be JoJo.

Blame lazy Brian. He can't get his head round spelling Johansen and in his own head he needs to shorten it to keep on top of his thread comms. I suspect when we ask if it catches on, the answer is CTN. What a day, what a game. Missed this last weekend and am already dreading the summer without this team! Can't Reuban or Tony employ Mrs Austin and Mrs Jojo in some kind of capacity that involves WFH for around £30k a week to redress the shortfall in what we can offer their hubbies? Every other team is cheating the rules, maybe time we started again?

What book is it? Maybe I'll give it a listen on my Chinese smartphone. (It better not be Walden, Clive - that man was a fraud - had lunch at his mum's house every day, total shitehouse.)
This is not an April Fool, I am expecting a very Good Friday - match thread on 19:44 - Apr 2 with 1406 views | BrianMcCarthy | REatings: Lumley - 6, delighted for him to get a clean sheet, clearly a great fella Dickie - 8, did what he had to do with such ease, also added so much to the attack Cameron - 6 Did fine, not really tested, took a yellow/orange for the team Barbet - 7 Cleared a lot of ball, controlled Wallace - 8 Excellent, he and Chair killed the lazy Da Costa and the hapless Rose JoJo - 8 My MOTM. Just imperious. Superb range of passing. Superb control. Field - 8 Great in defence, solid, smooth Willock - 7 Superb first half, nice goal, was quiet in the second half Chair - 8 Finishing aside, he was brilliant. Dynamic and annoying, popping up everywhere Austin - 6 Hauled ashore again due to fitness or form, and looked unhappy with himself as he trudged around the pitch. Still, some nice touches.

After the last few seasons we've had, a 3-0 will do me fine, I don't need to rue not winning by more. Too often recently we've laboured to a scrappy 0-0 in fixtures like these. Pretty much agree with those ratings Brian. Good to see 8's for both central midfielders as one of the major factors in our excellent form since January is the improvement in this area. JoJo and Field just offer so much more than Cameron and Ball. Think the latter two are now very useful squad players but not in the starting XI that most fans would pick.
