He has been told he is going but awaits details of where to or who is bidding. Was called in recently and told no choice but to sell . He was hoping to stay and run down his contract but the club cant afford for that to happen. |  | |  |

Cheers, Pikey. If all true then the club are doing the right thing. He’s an asset. Either he signs a new contract on the same money or we have to sell him. We simply can’t afford for his asset value to decrease to zero in 12 months,
He should get this and try to help the club achieve as much money for him as possible.
With Amos, Smith, Manning and Scowen we have 4 midfielders for 2 spots. We have Eze and Chair for no. 10, so we have lots of cover.
FFP and freeing up budget for a striker is the overriding requirement at the minute.
Love Mass. Superb player for us. Will be a success at a new club, no doubt. But the above is the harsh reality of life for a club in our predicament. |  | | |
