Did anyone get the impression that defeat didn't quite hurt him enough?
This is not intended as a Hill bashing thread in any way. Just a thought and I wondered what others think. Look at the top managers in Football and champions in any sport. They've got to win. E.g. Sir Alex, Lewis Hamilton, MacEnroe, etc. By contrast I remember Keith saying that he was not embarrassed at the defeat by FCUM.
Keith hill now 1/8 red hot favourite for the bury job
If he's even considering taking that shit shower it highlights how desperate he must be to get back into football or how few options he's actually had since getting the chop

Who knows if he is interested or not! He may just take the position and he may try and increase his profile by hoping to replicate his first stint as Dale manager..
That would improve his standing for other vacancies if he managed to do it...
My all time favourite Dale player Mr Lyndon Symmonds

Or have the complete opposite effect if he replicates the last 2 season's with us.. they'll need an accountant to keep track on the goals conceded from set pieces alone

Surely he as learned from his last 2yrs! He would be a poor manager if he didnt...

I reckon Hill's chance of future employment will swing massively on his answer to the questions. What do you think went wrong at Rochdale and what would you do differently in the same circumstances. If he mainlyblames budget and fan reactions that surely wouldn't bode well.

Depends who is asking the questions?
If is bury, they don't care a fig about budgets (and probably fans as well)
I cannot seeing any league club taking on Mister big head. Has a terrible reputation of arguing with fans, zero empathy with fans which is essential. A total dictator ...Do it my way or else...Players nowadays need motivation individually. Not all players respond to bullying.... His talent as a coach, is very good..But as a number 2 to a fatherley manager, he would be very good. Could coach in the championship, with Flicker,,,as long as players had a Roy Hodgson type manager. To fall back on when they feel pushed too far....
If he takes that job, and it still is if, he will be one of the biggest hypocrites I’ve ever met. No mitigation.
Too true Fitz, he was always on about the cheats in football , and moaning about budgets, but as mentioned , bury dont have a budget. And would bury give him the 10% back handers etc , well if its dodgy then bury's your team LOL Would his arrogance suit them? Maybe. Lets hope he cannot change( since surely he would of done here and not gone blindly to the wall) .
