Championship football on 12:28 - Dec 30 by TailGunner | Same here. Competitive in every game. Genuinely gutted for all our losses, as we have been in nearly every game until the last whistle. Tremendous away trips compared to the PL |
There was an air of predictability during our latter Premier League years, particularly away from home - setting ourselves up for 0-0, 11 behind the ball, achieving 25% ball possession. Hard to get excited about this even on away day train journeys. We were not doing this during the first few seasons which coincidentally were far more enjoyable. The same can be said this season. I can relate to your post.

Championship football on 12:36 - Dec 30 by Darran | Everyone should want to be playing at the highest level possible otherwise what’s the point? |
I’d like to attempt to compete at the highest level - what Palace did to Man City is the example that I would want to follow. Our latter years were punctuated far too often with ‘park the bus’ type set ups.

The Swans tend to play in the Swansea fixtures against those teams.

Championship football on 22:01 - Dec 29 by pencoedjack | Evening Thomas The football we played against Leeds ( & in patches other games) I’m certainly up for it. The 1st half today ( & unfortunately most of what I’ve watched) makes me want to puke. I still believe we could have got promoted this season with 2/3 decent signings in the summer ... long gone now. Happy new year to you. |
I have enjoyed the football this season. The Championship is an exciting league. A few years ago fans would be over the moon with Championship football. But many have forgotten where we came from. Since I started watching us we have had 9 seasons in the top league 7 in the 2nd tier. The other 27 have been in the bottom 2 divisions. Could be a lot worse.

No, I like to see the Swans playing Man City, United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs etc. If you prefer to see us playing Rotherham, Reading and Brentford etc that’s your prerogative.

Of course we want to be playing at the highest level we can but when all is said and done I just want to watch the Swans whether it's against Liverpool or Scunthorpe I still enjoy it And if It made me as miserable as some on here are I wouldn't bother going. I watch Darlington when I am not watching the Swans National league North and there fans are more upbeat than some on here.
