Firstly, apologies from myself - I thought it was safe enough leaving grown adults who all support the same team to post on here without a babysitter for a few hours each Saturday night, and I was wrong about that. We'll have to look at some alternative moderation ideas for matchdays, or just put the board on read only on Saturday nights as certain pathetic individuals cannot be trusted. Cheers guys, another headache for me, and an absolute pain in the ars for all the normal, non-crazy people who want to use the forum as a forum.
Secondly, the two accounts involved have posted on here for a long time but both have now been suspended. We will not tolerate threats of any sort on here, or that sort of behaviour, or that sort of language.
Thirdly, apologies for only just addressing this now, late one last night and I'm at work today so have just seen it. Tried tidying the match thread up ads best I could.
Fourthly, we haven't had moderation on here, other than myself, for years and it's a better forum for it, but that can only continue if everybody behaves themselves.

One massive comment on this....DO NOT APOLOGISE CLIVE! You don't get paid and we owe you a lot for the time you spend on this...so thank you for that, and it's a shame the idiots ruin things for a lot of others.
Spot on by 1MoreBrightonR. Thanks Clive for running this excellent site. Sorry that you have to put up with the sh-t from fellow fans.

Thought last night was a shame and unnecessary, there used to be a bloody big bloke on here moderating who's name escapes me, we met up at WBA's ground once and he worked for an American airline, he wouldn't have put up with that bolox last night. I don't post or visit any other sites but this one, in the old rival day's you could have one hell of a craic on here but almost to a Man most of them don't post anymore which is a shame. Don't think you need to apologise Clive.

With the UN ceasefire in east Ghouta already in tatters before its even started, I'm just wondering what the plans are for if/when our warring brethren are allowed to return to the international community?

I had a friend who went to Spain for a couple of years. When he came back he too had turned into a raving slabbering lunatic every time he got pissed. Wtf are they doing to them down there?
10 minutes of Spanish Bureaucracy while trying to apply for any kind of documentation here is enough to turn anyone insane very quickly, I can guarantee that.
Ive had PMs with both Blob and Brighton over the years and think very highly of the pair of them. Sad to hear whats happened. Hope to see both of them back soon. Clive, this is the only forum i still visit, and would miss it like hell living in Denmark, but... I really dont know why you bother mate.

The fame and the women, mainly.

I missed the match thread this week with travelling about but is obviously a shame to lose two long term posters, certainly stretching a few guises of the forum. To Westbourne, why is it important you maintain anonymity? What do you gain, the ability to be controversial without repercussion? Look at the respected posters and they are known by several others, the WUMs don't carry that gravitas so my advice would be to throw off the cloak, accept you're a no mark like the rest of us and use argument rather than hyberbole all of a sudden you'll get proper discussion, unfortunately I don't see that happen with a lot you have to say. Just my advice, or in other words; don't be an arse all your life! Edit. That is supposed to be light hearted but on reading isn't quite, so don't dig out the .22 Please...

well harsh on westbourne, but then I tend to agree with him!
With regard to anonymity, on reaching middle-age i found that i had a cloak of invisibility anyway!!

1. Clive, I am sorry that you have to deal with this. I admire the job you do on here. You are such a great sports writers and we are bloody lucky to have you. Thank you for your contribution to the world-wide QPR community. It is sincerely appreciated.
2. Brighton is a bit of a out in right field and has pulled this sort of sht before. He once threatened to attack me with a sword. I'm a nice bloke and definitely did not deserve decapitation with a rusty WWI bayonet! That isn't even a joke. He said he would wait for me at the next game and beat me up using his trusty sword (how weird is that?). So I have no sympathy there. He has a track record of bringing the tone down.
3. Blob can be a bit over the top at times. Having said that, in the 20+ years that I've been on this site and its predecessors, including a fair few times on different sides of an argument, I think he usually brings something interesting to the discussion and I have never found him too out of order. The one time he was a little rough he followed up and apologized later. I appreciated that.
First and last, thanks Clive for making this the best QPR resource on the web by far and I am sorry that it can be such a chore at times.

"someone needs to bring Tone down."
Tone is innocent!

LFW is easily the worst QPR site. Forum dominated by a clique of weirdos (most of whom don't go to matches) who worship Saint Clive and prefer talking about cheese than anything football-related.
Is there a whatsit for wan*er??
