Very good player and deserving of his recent opportunities. Since he's started to start he's showing he can hold his own on the pitch and is not afraid to put it about neither. Agree that when his confidence creeps up a little more he will hopefully give more to the team. I also think he's got goals in him, he's decent in the air and has been close (to making contact) making good runs of siggys set pieces. As you said confidence, which will come by playing him.
Having Leon at his side will help him massively in his development and I hope to see him continue his run in team. |  | | |

Certainly did. We looked much calmer in possession and there were a few examples in the match today where the way we played out of tight areas (mostly in the 2nd half) where Jay was involved moving it quickly and ready to receive again. It was nice to see that aspect of our game to return. Still a long way to go but I think JF has put in a very good claim on the jersey going forward. | | | |

Fair play, I don't agree with op post about llorente but totally agree with this thread about Fulton. The kid has quietly been improving week on week since he came into the team a month or so ago.... for me he could well end up being Leon's replacement long term. Fulton is class, he has composure and grit. Britton was superb as was Gilfi.
But many on here would have you believe before the game that the whole midfield are crap and those same posters won't be happy until we spend £20m on a player. | | | |

As much as I think Fulton is a decent player, he is not dynamic enough, and does not have the same technical qualities Britton has. Unfortunately, we don't seem to have anyone who can do the role Britton has done through the years, and really needs to be addressed, but finding a player comfortable on the ball, with some pace and bite, willing to do sacrifice personal glory for the team effort is a very difficult thing to do. |  |

was superb today and has been most of the time this season. Was very lucky not to suffer a serious injury to his ankle in the first half from a bad challenge. Hopefully Bradley doesn't have to rotate too much over the busy period because I think him and Britton looked by far the best pairing in midfield this season. | | | |
