Playing well is relative to how good you are surely? I don't really know what people are expecting to be honest. It is not about being easily pleased it is about being realistic, we are not very good. If we had nicked a goal in that half and were leading 1-0 then I don't think Sunderland could have complained. Unfortunately neither of our wingers have ever been able to cross, so expecting them to suddenly develop that ability when confidence is understandable at an all time low is fanciful at best. At this stage of the season, with the lack of quality we have - As long as we are battling with a chance to win 1-0 ugly, i'm happy. So far thats how it is going and an improvement ten fold on most of the dross we have seen so far this season. | |

Considering the lack of confidence that there's bound to be, they are doing alright in that first half.
Admittedly, Routledge cross was crap but he took to must time to think about it.
