Wales Homecoming Tomorrow on 20:23 - Jul 8 by dickythorpe | It's all about the kids I think. Great to thank the Welsh team and for them to see how much they mean. These youngsters have seen their nation in a finals for the first time possible in their lives, not like us who have been put through the mill. It may be too early for me to say this but these youngsters won't have the "baggage" we and perhaps former players had. |
My son....4 years old when we secured premier league football, 9 years old now seeing his country reach the semi final of a cup! A generation who are growing up into a thriving welsh football surrounding

My boy is of a similar age - its sickening isn't it? The spoiled b@stards won't know how to cope when the inevitable rough patch comes along.

Wales Homecoming Tomorrow on 00:45 - Jul 9 by swanstillidai | I had an ex that used to be into spanking. It was decent at first and i got a bit of a kick out of it, but she turned the domination table on to me by wanting to insert various household objects up my anus. Her mother lives a few doors down - I wince every time I bid her a good morning |

They had a whole TV programme before the finals about the glorious success of their wonderful team in 1996 when 'football came home.'

Whilst listening to several English media people saying 'they only got to the semis & are having a parade'... Gazza's tears and all that sprung to my mind too.

Piers morgan on twitter seems to have forgotten their open bus parade when losing in the semis.

It was the 'various household objects'. Candles? Books? Breadboard? Speakers? Anyway, good on the team and the folk that turned out. God knows we need a bit of a lift. Bale is just so impressive. Watch and hang your head in shame Giggs.

Wales Homecoming Tomorrow on 23:14 - Jul 8 by westside | BBC Wales saying Kerdiff is the home of welsh football Is this their lastest bit of propaganda to big up Kerdiff and shove it to the rest of wales. It's the nation's team not Kerdiff's |
Finally, someone else realises it. One good tournament and suddenly half the people on here have started loving the scum, including Joe Ledley because he does that ridiculous dance. A few years back, everyone was slating him. Everything in Wales is about Cardiff. Unfortunately, the more Wales is good at stuff, like football, the more people acquiesce to keeping it that way.

I think I should field this one. Ledley in terms of the Wales team is a good player and performer. I don't think anyone really got that excited about his so called dancing except the media. He wouldn't be good enough for us though. Most of them wouldn't , including Neil Taylor as international football is a step down from PL football in most cases except for the likes of the real powerhouse nations overstocked with high quality players. As for Cardiff being the home of Welsh football - it's just the Basseys in the BBC trying to get CCFC on the Welsh national team bandwagon by any tenuous link possible. Football is popular in Cardiff but it's mostly for the new found success of the national team that just happen to play there and the hordes of plastic PL fans (including some of ours). Historically not many , apart from Cardiff's golden years back in the 50's (?) Of the townsfolk bothered supporting them at all. It's mainly been valleys and surrounding areas such as bridgend that their traditional support has come from. So don't be upset, let them wallow in the happy glow for a while. It will all change when their league campaign starts in earnest.........

Wales Homecoming Tomorrow on 12:30 - Jul 10 with 1510 views | westside | Does Welsh football really have a home? Welsh Rugby Union has a home of the Principality Stadium. England Rugby has a home of Twickenham. Engalnd FA has a home at Wembley. But Welsh National football has just played at various stadiums over the decades and never had a home. It seems that Cardiff is doing what it has always done and that is to hijack Wales for whatever it can get and this time it's the success of the welsh national football team that their hijacking for themselves.
