Well Blob, As you're birthday approached I decided last week to buy you a Gold Vox Lil Night Train 2 Watt head and matching cabinet. Having got it home I decided to 'bin' the Chinese valves in the head and replace them with Hamer valves, I then decided to 'bin' the 10" Chinese made Celestion speaker in the cab and replace it with a 10" Celestion Greenback Vintage speaker that has the magic words stamped on it "Made In The UK" Having blasted all manner of single coils and humbuckers through the Lil Night Train and Matching Cab I've made the decision to keep the goddam thing for myself! All I can wish you then is a happy birthday (what's left of it). There's something about warm valves, there's also something about the fabulous Vox and I'm quite sure hardly anybody on this MB has a clue what I'm going on about
