Is this the end of the back 3....no point buying a full back otherwise. I guess it gives up options but you can't keep changing formations during games and expect results.

I was wondering when we developed a left back problem.

Daily Mirror. nuff said.

Never knowingly understood

What a shame we haven't got our eyes on a young dynamic left back who has proved he is full of energy, gets forward well, crosses well, chips in with a goal and has played at the HIGHEST level.... ie The World Cup.

Oooooh. Hang on. Havent we got one of those already at the club? A Yun man who from what I hear is mad keen to do well for the club.

But then someone does luv a bit a wheelin and dealin an the boys need to have a fee an sticky finga's all over it doncya know? Anyways twiffick lad this scouser. Followed his career since he played for Kneehigh Rov'as good boy, good boy.

Isn't he really a right back that can play left back?
Perfect answer to a problem we didn't know existed

I'm confusing him with Flanagan sorry

I love the fact that Yun played a blinder at left back in the world cup but that's not good enough for us.

Never knowingly right.

?
Jack is a very good fetch. I liked the idea of Martin Kelly, Robinson is equally good.
Traore is the issue, he can't play defense. Hun will have to beat out Jack...is that so bad?
And for 1mil?

Jack Robinson on 19:59 - Aug 25 with 2689 viewsHollowayRanger

why the frig didn't we buy Kelly for £1.5 million from the pool

as for yun he did the ice bucket thing so he is still alive and at the club

Would be a pretty decent signing, if we could pretend we hadn't just given Traore a new contract and that Yun had proved himself unsuitable.

After Sunday I agree that this may say more about Traore than Yun.

I wouldn't be too shocked if I heard of Armand being used as part of some other deal or attempted deal over the next few days.

I doubt Traore earns what his last contract had. Plus, he is a useful sub, winger.
Robinson is available because Lpool just spent 100 mil on 15 players...

Can we just lay this to rest once and for all.

Traore is not 'useful' in anyway. He has and always will be a liability, with no bottle, who switches off constantly, loses the ball relentlessly and cheaply, runs in aimless straight lines with no plan or clue as to how he'll beat his man.

He isn't a full back, he isn't winger and he isn't a wing back.

Doesn't matter where you put him he is weak and has no understanding of the game.
He is a failed footballer.

He has had far too many chances already.

Yun on the other hand, is good.

If this is true then I think, more than anything else, this will show if the Board have indeed learnt the lessons of the past.

Traore is shit.

traore.....the sponge bob square pants of the premier.

id take lukewarm from 'porridge' to take traore on points for the lightweight title vacated by matthew rose.

always looks like he's going into a fox hole in the gook jungle with the theme tune from M.A.S.H in his head before stepping out onto the pitch .

he'd make gloria beaumont look like marc overmars on billy whizz .more straweight than lightweight. .

whats happening with yun

I have no problem with Robinson as a player or at that age and price.

To be honest, we don't have a specialist left back and i don't think the 5-3-2 is going to stick due to lack of ability to coach the players.

Jack Robinson on 09:48 - Aug 26 with 1645 viewsTHEBUSH

If this guy Jack Robinson is a genuine left back, why not, they are hard to come by !!

Traore is not a defender, imo, and then we only have Yun, as our Clint's left backs days are over.

Robinson and Yun as left backs, is a good deal, as far as I can see.

Yun Suk-Young isn't a teenager. He's 24 and in what should be the prime years of his footballing career. If we're going to sign another left back now, after what happened last year with Ekotto, he's clearly never going to be given a chance at QPR and I hope for his own sake he gets a move to a club that is prepared to give him a chance of first team football.

Jack Robinson on 10:02 - Aug 26 with 1618 viewsrobith

I'm not understanding the anger at this? He's a player full of potential, young age, at a snip of a price (when he was 18 liverpool turned down some hefty bids for him).

Yun I'm hoping will develop and be great for us, but he's still very very raw

Signing more players is always the answer.

Who knows with 'Arry and his team selection tombola?

I would think if we don't see Yun feature against Sunderland after Traore's shocker against Spurs, then Redknapp clearly doesn't rate him.

Robinson seems a decent signing to at least give us the option of playing a flat back 4, as Traore and Hill can't play in that formation anymore.

I didn't realise we were still in the Championship............................
