It was nice to see George get a warm round of applause upon his sub appearance and a nice gesture for him to acknowledge it.
Was also great to see him acknowledge us before his own fans after game where he received another good round of applause
Either I am getting soft and / or old but back in the day I don't recall many players getting a good reception at Layer Road, just abuse, upon their return with a different club. | | | |
