Didn't expect anything out of the game, but disappointing we didn't even make a contest of it. I thought a few players had some good moments - Derry got some good challenges in, Barton looked up for it, Traore too when he came on - but we just kept giving the ball away so cheaply and Chelsea were really in the mood to punish us when we did. I love Buzaky, but he had a shocker. Still need the 3 points against Stoke, and a Spurs result today would be nice too (but unlikley, the way my day's going)

My most optimistic best case scenario was an unlikely draw today but that went out the window as soon as we conceded after 45 secs. The first half display was similar to Spurs away, only one team in the game, unable to string two passes together, giving Chelsea all the space they needed to attack at will. At least the second half was a bit 'better' but a humiliating defeat all round. Desperately hoping we get a result against Stoke and results elsewhere go in our favour.

Bad start, Sturridge got a bit of luck with the rebound but a great finish then HW misses the accused racist climbing all over Hill. Then we were not even on the pitch until about 30 mins had gone. Hill and Derry made to look like average Championship players through lack of pace and for a long time we were dominated in the air as well.

Agree with London Pride, Cisse totally out of it until he very belatedly moved up front, if we were going to play 451 then it had to be Traore on the left.

Need a new approach next week 451 has now been found out and Stoke will just knock it high and log to Crouch anyway.

Hopefully Diakite will be fit, we really missed him and Tarabt today. We let them play to Torres strengths. How about 4231 with same back four, Diakite and Barton holding Mackie, Cisse and Tarabt with Zamorra up top. We need Zam for his height in defensive set plays.

Referee ok but why was Barton the only yellow? Hill and Derry should have joined him. Essien's tackle looked like a red and the accused racist slid in later on with both feet raised as well!

Just revisited this page and find that the average star score for players has been between 2 and 3 stars. The current MOM is Traore who only played 24 mins and has a score currently of less than 5 stars.

Says it all really.
