After this total crap dished up by the senior player's perhaps it's time to give the youngsters a game. At least they would try.

I see that this performance was too bad to even rate a "Verdict". If we had won just one of these 2 games we would be right up there now...

Nice to see some reserves step up. Decent effort by all players tonight aside from Ki. Ayew put lots of pressure on and even Gomis worked hard until brain fart in last few minutes.

I guess I'll post on here then... Worryingly bad performance, nothing to commend it except for the display of VVD and perhaps Romeu and Bertrand. Others have said it all so I'll just add: What the fek was Mane doing caught up in a crowded midfield and then having to chase aimless long balls to the corner? Forster has NEVER come out to punch and risk getting clattered.Shake them and yourself up Ron, otherwise we'll end the season going backwards and risk losing more than just Mane and VW.

Again Saints appear to be unable to work as a team, except for a few short spells in the game. The passing generally appeared rushed and predominantly inaccurate. Pelle again flattered to disappoint being unable to get, hold and then pass the ball, though he did have one or two good moments, in his defence our crossing into the box was abysmal.

We had a few good half chances to score in the first half, but our players losing the ball going forward allowed Sunderland to break. Our shoddy play made them look a half decent team, except they were sh1te in front of goal. Though not a lot worse than us.
Fortunately for us, though Sunderland had the extra man, they put all their players in their own box and invited Saints to attack, fortunately one of the only good crosses allowed our MOTM to poach an undeserved equaliser.

What is so unsettling is that every player can do so much better individually and as a team, how do we so quickly and easily lose our confidence?

A point? Got to say I'm happy.
Ps, our support was poor, until after the sending off (why?)

Why or why yoshilda is on the park for 4 mins and they score .... First rule of defense is kick it out to touch or hoof up feild what he do pass it across the box .... Need to lose this jona and fast man has cost us min of 8 points

Felt like a victory but lots of problems. Awful final ball every time, and terrible set-pieces. Romeu was great, as was VVD

Bizarre tactics. Why take off Clasie? Why no Cedric? Actually, Martina was the source of many of our second-half attacks but occasionally out of position. Van Dijk, Romeu and Clasie worked for ninety minutes. Forster seemed frightened to leave his line. Fonte took one for the team. Neither Davis or Bertrand had practiced taking corners since their last game. Our so-called forwards weren't at the races. Juanmi got almost thirty minutes and sadly contributed zilch. Odd that like the Chelsea game the first innocuous foul by a Saints player (Davis) elicited a yellow card from an over-fussy referee. Our support throughout the game was unheard. Disillusionment strikes again.
