![]() Thursday, 3rd Jan 2013 22:13 Patrick Kisnorbo's departure to Ipswich is probably the biggest news so far for Leeds fans in the January transfer window, we are frequently told not to raise our hopes by our former chairman, new owners, Peter Lorimer et al but so the news that a player many of us had forgotten about has been loaned-out for a month is par the course. Kisnorbo, 31 has just one start to his name this term. Although he was rightfully recognised as one of our most significant performers during the League One promotion season of 2010 since then he has been blighted with injury and I was amazed we offered him another deal in the summer. Kisnorbo will stay at Ipswich until January 29th and has been given clearance to play in their FA Cup 3rd round tie against Aston Villa. I could not help but chuckle at the tangible excitement doing the rounds on Ipswich sites at the Big Aussies arrival at Portman Road. They have signed the essential modern-day Leeds United defender, slow, clumsy and injury prone.
