Should Dykes play alongside Field in midfield
at 05:22 18 Aug 2024

Given that Colback will be suspended and Varance looks a little lightweight as he finds his feet, should we move Dykes from attack to defensive midfield?

He is defensively a strong player IMHO. He is tall, phyisically strong, can win tackes and win headers. Plus he has a good press and can break up play.

Is this worth a try or am I being too optimistic in thinking Dykes is good enough to do this?

Is Reggy Cannon now the only weak link in our defence?
at 16:38 4 May 2024

With Begovic, Ozzie & Drewe all having their contracts now expiring does this mean the only remaining weak link in our defence is cannon?

Is he worth holding onto for a season to see if comes good or should we sell or loan him out?

Imho, he's yet to fully prove his fitness and I think he's also too small

nice midlands chelsea suppoters, can you really forgive them?
at 03:47 6 Jun 2014

Meet Mori, a recent hero of mine. his real name is Peter but has affectionately (and ironically) become known as Mori as it's short for Moribund:

in a dying state; near death

on the verge of extinction or termination

not progressing or advancing; stagnant

He helps out at Fairhaven Horse Sanctuary on a daily basis from mucking out, cutting paddocks, fixing broken door handles and changing car batteries.

However, not everyone is perfect and Mori is your typical Chelsea fan. He was born in Hull, lives in the Peterborough area and has done for years. Has been to Stamford Bridge only once in is life.

Anyway forgiving this lapse of football judgement many thanks for all the help you have given the charity.

But can I really forgive him for supporting the scum?

We Rs are like the Vikings
at 19:18 26 May 2014

Read LFW for two years now but so overwhelmed by Saturday just had to write my first post.

Firstly, my favourite cheese is mild cheddar and secondly thanks to Clive and all the posters for keeping me up to date with the hoops.

I'm 38 and was born with cerebral palsy and in the last 3 years this has made me virually unable to walk without pain as well as having little use of my arms, but can still type.

My last match was the Leeds championship celebration but before then i had a season ticket with my mate during the holloway years in the East paddock Row B Seat 51.

I was there for the oldham semi and Cardiff.

But when bobby z scored i have never screamed so much at the TV in my life. in context, best rangers goal ever!

back among the big the boys again I feel we Rs can show the viking spirit and survive with honour, despite the hammerings we will be dealt.

This is my old season ticket mucker celebrating at Wembley and i've added the Viking attire.

Chelscum, next season welcome to Valhalla
