Without a shadow of a doubt, the most enjoyable side we've watched for years. My 15 year old son is really taken with this bunch purely because they seem to care so much and leave everything on the pitch. Not sure i'd take the captaincy off Mass even when Ned is back, he is growing in stature with every game. Hopefully the crowds increase as the season progresses, but nice to hear the atmosphere gradually getting better. It's been a while but the club and team really seem to be on the right road. |

Maybe Furlong to cover right side on Tuesday, got to get the young man going again. Cousins may struggle 2 games in 3 days after so long out. Pav looks woefully out of form at the mo. |

Think he was immense again today. We may have stumbled on to his best position by accident but since move to centre back been so solid. Hope he can remain relatively injury free for rest of season. I imagine he’s still on decent wages but hope we can extend his contract if this form/fitness continues. Oh, was waiting for the inevitable “Lynch moment” too, thankfully we managed 90 mins without one for a change. All in all very enjoyable performance. |
