Used to speak to Paul Ince a few years ago as he lived / lives near my daughter and was often swanning around with his flashy missus who now drives a Bentley convertible to go shopping .
When he went abroad, he said the pressure was nothing compared to the luxury of a life spent on Lake Como , a couple of hours from Milan . Kids have international schools to educate them and everything is done for them .
To a lesser extent ,thigs not dissimilar happen on our country ,so don’t let anyone bleed for footballers at the higher levels
They earn more in a week than most folk will in months . They can look after their money and retire on their 30 s of they are prudent .

Well, when I went, I always stayed until the end mainly as one never knows what can happen in a game
Now,that’s not so .We will always fork it up.
Players these days don’t give a monkeys
The badge kissing should be a yellow card . It’s an insult . Real club men like Matthews ,Finney ,Lofthouse and our very own Ivor or Robbie J would never have resorted to such crap. It’s purely to impress fans when they are really laughing at them . Their job is not as it was with less for a won than a defeat or draw. They are cosseted and pampered .
They love the praise but hate the stick .

If he stays ,we sink . We might actually go under completely . Now, my point is ,how do we bring pressure to bear on those who run the club so we continue as a club.
I see us as being too meek . Cardiff was dire,shameful,Norwich worse,and now this . It can get even worse and will.
Now,take me out of the equation and let’s see what transpires ,eh.
Maybe, we are resigned to losing and feel all hope has gone. Looking and listening to the crowd ,I’d say that’s where we are .
It’s why season ticket holders actually don’t go. Imagine paying for a meal up front and then not eating it. That alone is alarming . |
