Thought Tom Smith was resident keeper for this competition . Macey has kept us up in many games this season and should be applauded for his post match interview, honesty being the best policy. Despite being the better side throughout, except first five and last five minutes, a lack of cutting edge in the final third will see us looking over our shoulders at the league places below until the season is finished. Onwards and upwards . |

Luckily only a two nil result , playing last ten with only ten men. Resorted in just playing high ball over the full backs, which resulted to some effect in the first half, but the final ball into the box lacked quality for a finish. No supply whatsoever second half, needed Read to bolster midfield rather than replace Terry, who with Edward’s lack understanding down the left flank. Back to the olde days with this performance and result . |

Thanks to all who had a go . Final answer of the quiz is RAY PRICE The first-ever substitute used by the U's when he came on for Ted Phillips in a 2-0 home win over Rochdale on 19 September 1965 Well done to Daniel and Wessex, and suspect a few more got the answer after the answers to the eight questions were revealed. Wonder if anyone saw this happen , has he become one of now many to come off the bench. [Post edited 3 Jan 12:59]

More than two decades on from his first game in management, Phil Parkinson is poised to take to the dugout for the 1,000th time this weekend. The 57-year-old has taken charge of 999 matches during his managerial career to date - the first of which saw his Colchester United side beat Port Vale 4-1 at Layer Road on 1 March, 2003. |

If Gordon had not deemed to have fouled the keeper for the second penalty , goalkeeper should have got a red for fouling Anderson when clipping him over. No decent ball for Hopper all game , but Gordon showed up for this encounter. Another decent display by Macey Never a free kick for the final ball in the box. Game of three pens and two crosses. |

Should have seen that game home . Swindon had the two best crosses in the game, one resulted in goal the other handball ? Would it have gone wide if Flanagan had not had his arm out ? Never had any control in this game, what so ever . Need to start another unbeaten run on Sat with three points . |

Any club that cancelled concessions for loyal fans, for the global arse on seat, should be instantly shunned, (and there is more than one in the PL ). |

Johnnie Jackson had a “ Arse “ moment after the Wimbledon game against the Gills last night . Winner by Stevens was clearly shouldered in from the corner, which the ref and linesmen both failed to see, which Johnnie strangely had conveniently not seen after before the post match interview . Lyle Taylor was very articulate with his after match thoughts . |
