Dud strikers that we thought were going to convert into 20 goal, 1 in 2 hit-men

Mark Hateley. Our big money replacement for Les Ferdinand was paraded on the pitch while he was on crutches. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

I went to St Francis of Assisi infants, which was a mixed school, then the junior school which was just boys.

Secondary school was Cardinal Manning in St Charles Square.

Charlie Kelmanā€™s Leyton Orient
at 14:37 19 Feb 2025

I liked Paul Smyth when he was initially with us. He ended up at Leyton Orient, and he flourished there. So much so that we signed him again. Heā€™s been very good for us in his second spell thus far.

Charlie Kelman is our player, and heā€™s flourishing at Leyton Orient. We donā€™t have to sign him back as heā€™s ours. I think we should give him a chance next season. This current loan to LO could be the making of him.

My cousin is a Tottenham fan, and he said that every home game, the club shop sell 1100 Tottenham replica shirts with ā€˜SONā€™ on the back.

He said thatā€™s why they wonā€™t sell him. Levy loves him. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

If somebody wouldā€™ve told me 15 years ago that QPR would win a final at Wembley, but the manager would be forever despised by the fans, I would never have believed them.

The man is a fĆŗcking charlatan.

I was dead in line with this in the South Africa Road Stand. I remember all the Barnsley fans applauding it too. šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

Ronnie Edwards.
at 11:32 22 Jan 2025

A mate at work is a Barnet season ticket holder, and he sent me a message last night after weā€™d beaten Hull.
He said Ronnie Edwards is a fantastic player, and heā€™s a massive signing for us, albeit on loan.
Heā€™d been with Barnet from the age of 7 until he joined Peterborough when he was 16.
My mate also said that the Barnet chairman did a deal with Barry Fry where Ronnie Edwards moved to Peterborough for nothing, but Barnet receive 50% of any sell-ons. Theyā€™ve already received Ā£1.5m from the sale to Southampton. As far as I gather, Peterborough have a percentage of any future transfer from a Southampton, and Barnet have 50% of Peterboroughā€™s whack.

With the upturn in fortunes since November, coupled with our own promising youngsters showing such promise, Iā€™m actually very upbeat at the moment.

I can see good times ahead. šŸ‘

Very very sad to hear about this. I didnā€™t know Andrew, but it is a crumb of comfort to his family and friends that his last conscious thoughts were happy ones.

Rest in Eternal Peace, Andrew. ā¤ļøā¤ļø

Kieran Morgan - Looks So Comfortable.
at 12:05 7 Jan 2025

Weā€™re definitely a selling club, and thatā€™s how we were successful in the 70s, 80s & 90s to a degree.

If Kieran Morgan continues to impress for the rest of the season, how much could we be hoping to receive for him if thereā€™s interest from bigger clubs?

In an ideal world, weā€™d keep him for at least another 2-3 years.

I honestly think this kid can go to the top if he continues his progression.

VAR in the EFL
at 13:24 20 Dec 2024

The best 30 seconds of my football life was when Bobby Zamora scored our winner at Wembley.

That sort of emotion is spontaneous. You wouldnā€™t have that feeling if you had to wait for a VAR check.

Coventry fans had that spontaneous feeling in lat seasons semi final vs Man Utd. Then they had the awful low of it being disallowed for a toe being offside.

FĆŗck VAR.

Not films, but documentaries. I watched ā€˜89ā€™ again last night. Arsenal had the league won in Feb/March, but they blew a big points lead and needed to beat Liverpool at Anfield in the last match.

The two Escobarā€™s is absolutely brilliant. Itā€™s about Pablo Escobar and Andres Escobar.
If you havenā€™t seen it, Iā€™d highly recommend it.

The only time my dad would drink at home was at Christmas.

He used to put 2 or 3 bottles of Guinness by the fire before he had it. Being an old Irish fella, he said itā€™s meant to be drank a tad warm. Heā€™d never have entertained Guinness Cold from a pub.
