I went to St Francis of Assisi infants, which was a mixed school, then the junior school which was just boys.
Secondary school was Cardinal Manning in St Charles Square. |

I liked Paul Smyth when he was initially with us. He ended up at Leyton Orient, and he flourished there. So much so that we signed him again. Heās been very good for us in his second spell thus far.
Charlie Kelman is our player, and heās flourishing at Leyton Orient. We donāt have to sign him back as heās ours. I think we should give him a chance next season. This current loan to LO could be the making of him. |

My cousin is a Tottenham fan, and he said that every home game, the club shop sell 1100 Tottenham replica shirts with āSONā on the back.

If somebody wouldāve told me 15 years ago that QPR would win a final at Wembley, but the manager would be forever despised by the fans, I would never have believed them.

A mate at work is a Barnet season ticket holder, and he sent me a message last night after weād beaten Hull.
He said Ronnie Edwards is a fantastic player, and heās a massive signing for us, albeit on loan.
Heād been with Barnet from the age of 7 until he joined Peterborough when he was 16.
My mate also said that the Barnet chairman did a deal with Barry Fry where Ronnie Edwards moved to Peterborough for nothing, but Barnet receive 50% of any sell-ons. Theyāve already received Ā£1.5m from the sale to Southampton. As far as I gather, Peterborough have a percentage of any future transfer from a Southampton, and Barnet have 50% of Peterboroughās whack. |

Weāre definitely a selling club, and thatās how we were successful in the 70s, 80s & 90s to a degree.
If Kieran Morgan continues to impress for the rest of the season, how much could we be hoping to receive for him if thereās interest from bigger clubs?
In an ideal world, weād keep him for at least another 2-3 years.
I honestly think this kid can go to the top if he continues his progression. |

The best 30 seconds of my football life was when Bobby Zamora scored our winner at Wembley.
That sort of emotion is spontaneous. You wouldnāt have that feeling if you had to wait for a VAR check.
Coventry fans had that spontaneous feeling in lat seasons semi final vs Man Utd. Then they had the awful low of it being disallowed for a toe being offside.

Not films, but documentaries. I watched ā89ā again last night. Arsenal had the league won in Feb/March, but they blew a big points lead and needed to beat Liverpool at Anfield in the last match.
The two Escobarās is absolutely brilliant. Itās about Pablo Escobar and Andres Escobar.
If you havenāt seen it, Iād highly recommend it. |

The only time my dad would drink at home was at Christmas.
He used to put 2 or 3 bottles of Guinness by the fire before he had it. Being an old Irish fella, he said itās meant to be drank a tad warm. Heād never have entertained Guinness Cold from a pub. [Post edited 5 Dec 2024 12:22]
