| News Comment | Unlikely Baptiste-Robinson partnership driving Rangers - Knee Jerks at 16:53:24
Great Knee Jerks as per-usual Anti. One gripe though, and I'm not sure where you sit but from where I was in Rblock, Brooks didn't strike out at Scowen at all. Scowen effectively rugby tackled him, or at least tried to drag him down once Brooks had gone past him. Brooks seemed to try and shake him off, but I would never say he struck out at him. Scowen made a massive meal of it, ostensibly to waste time. Wasn't a red card in a million years, not that that stopped the usual 'off off off' chants. |

Very much agree with you re: Fer & Chery. Would much rather have Tjarron in there, and if we can get shot of Fer in January we should. |

Good report, Thanks. I can't understand how LTC only got a 5 though. Yes he got caught out in possession once or twice, but he was constantly offering an option to the player with the ball and never stopped running. I would like to see individual stats for the players, to check on passes made ect. but IMO he did pretty well considering he has just come back. |

Good read Roller, I think we all fear the dilution of the fanbase but you gotta take the good with the bad i guess. Just try and educate the new generation of fans! |

Try listening to all the other podcasts last season before making your judgement. Couple basic errors in this but general insight and analysis is good. Last season the podcast was fantastic, looking forward to it this year! |
| News Comment | Taarabt comes of age in the nick of time — guest column at 16:57:24
@Ozexile His free kick on Sunday was cracking but that was because he had the range to be able to bend it round the wall combined with power. The majority of Taiwo's freekicks have hit the wall or blasted over bar Sunderland. I think when it is at such a short range the finesse free kicks are preferable, much rather see the goalie forced to make a save than the wall get in the way! |

I had to read it twice to be fair to get that, bit of punctuation missing surely? That aside cheers for the info about parking and the Lass. Roll on Man City, COYRs |
| News Comment | QPR spring into life and stun Gunners — full match report at 14:29:42
That Derry tackle on walcott was supreme! Good read but i do think you were pretty generous in giving the officials a 7. Taarabt's booking was petty, and in the same vein of form, he gave to many free kicks for what were robust but fair challenges. It was an annoying performance which slowed the game down at times. The lino on the ellerslie road stand was appalling, not coin throwing appalling, but that challenge from Taiwo looked fantastic, as did a few other challenges over that side that all got flagged. Aaaanyway it was a stunning result, but the performance is what counts and if we can take that to old trafford we might be in for a half chance! |

Apparently Barton is very much the role model in training. First one there, last to leave, trying to lead by example(heard off the Open All R's Podcast). Who else would be a suitable captain?? Ferdinand is not a leader, Clint Hill if he was starting but i expect him to get dropped when Young returns. Derry if he is starting but i expect Diakate to take his place in the midfield. A captain needs to be a regular starter really and who else is a leader?? Barton may not be perfect, but he is our best option. |
