It was incredible. Had that gone in that would be one of QPR’s finest ever goals. I thought it was on the way to the station before he caught it as he did. A great moment.

Clive, regarding the ratings furore and tumult - do you think a colour coded scheme, rather than the very complicated 1 to 10 system that the whole world uses for other things, would be more apt?

Obviously, brown would be at the bottom - a stinker. I’d suggest a fairly inoffensive colour, like orange, could represent a decentish performance. A good half/bad half game could result in mixing colours, perhaps? I’m struggling for a colour to describe a Barbetesque performance like yesterday. Maybe blue?

I’m not sure. Hope this helps.
