So no one else has ventured, so could we see Mads and even Celar eased out? |

And along those lines I see Ronnie Edwards as a probable permanent, with Fox , Dunne and Cook not yet set in stone for next year. |

Nice string here. Doak is probably the league MVP, and worthy of discussion as a potential heir for Salah..who Lpool are clearly not going to extend themselves to re-sign. As for Paal; I think the defense has been vastly reorganized. Tom Fellows exhausted Paal on Day 1, but there were MANY holes that day. Now Paal and Dunne are more than supported by Smythe and Chair with disciplined support from Morgan and Varane. We fail in late game situations where the subs do not have the defensive accumen of the starters. Which points to why there is interest in X. Simons. |

Watching the last few games, Kolli is sharper faster and has a significantly better eye for anticipating . Norwich game and last week He anticipates passes, pressures the opposition and creates his own opportunities. |

my sentiments as well!! As I recall Hayden was seeing less time toward the end, whereas Varane is on the sheet virtually every game. ..and improving in strides. |

St Clive. For me this was a case of more Mist fire than opportunity. Or in contrast opportunity taken rather than mist. Players rested, other players asked to play in new combos an outing for a promising keeper with little game time. The biggest mist was not seeing more youngsters. We had no serious injuries, and the players with questions hardly exalted themselves. Job done. |

Was just about to make the same notation. Given his improvement, if Varane can take advantage of opportunities that do come his way (along with Kieran) it will make our 2nd half that much better. |

I have really enjoyed watching his contributions. Ala Colback (and now Kieran), he is not afraid to put a body in on the opposition. Yes, it shows in the cards accumulated but to be fair, the refereeing in the championship has been 'intriguing' and our midfield 3-4 are all picking up cards. To your point tho, it is the way the midfield group has played that has made a vast difference. The current unit (Field-Varane-Morgan) are present at both ends of the pitch. |

On paper it would have appeared to be a good signing. But like many it has not gone to plan. Consider comparing to Sean Goss , Connor Washington, Cousins or Kelman in terms of hopeful signings with less than favored dividends. |

Thanks again. On that equalizer: First QPR had a great sequence and a shot on target is the least of what should have happened. That throw was another of the poor decisions but the 3rd part was the pedestrian contribution of Mads and Saito not making ANY effort to get in a challenge. |

In this age. I think there might be a spark of truth. Its not absurd to think he is homesick. Getting his wages off the book and bringing in a loan could be a win-win. I like the (rumored) idea of Louie Sibley. ..partly because I hope his surname could bring with it shades of Frank Sibley. |

One of my 'high points' in my day is checking in to LFW. I liked the game. MUCH better than the Derby or Leeds displays. It definitely highlighted how good the Dunne/Morrison tandem are. 1. I think that after trying Dunne and Field in partnership with Dunne, maybe they (Dunne) would be a fit with JCS as a lefty/righty combo, with Ashby in his natural RB and Paal left. 2. The midfield triangle is not a finished article either, even if Varane and Morgan have greatly improved the product. Marti's penchant for rotation could/see spots for Colback, even EDB. I did like the suggestion of Chair in the 10 role instead of Mads or Morgan. |
