Love your old memories of the Baseball Ground similar to mine in those good old days. Wish we had a Willie Carlin or an Archie Gemmill or a Dave McKay in front of the back for to body-check any forward who was a bit cheeky or bold.

Live in France now & can only watch on tv 'til we visit UK. I loved the first minutes & saw some exciting football for the first time in ages from Derby. Then they scored-thought it was a great goal that perhaps could have gone anywhere but didn't unfortunately. I just wish we'd show some fight & get stuck in like we used to-then I reckon Derby fans would be happy even if we lost 'cos we'd given it our best shot. Don't seem to do that these days unfortunately, but hopefully that will come...don't think Pearson will stand for it. The joy seems to have gone out of Rams football unfortunately...playing scared!
