| Forum Reply | Kenny Jackett is the future at 13:01 5 Nov 2015
It's about building a team, rather than just trying to buy journey men, I believe Kenny has the ability to build a team playing attractive football. His record as Manager is impressive especially at Swansea and he was Assistant Manager when we got promoted with Holloway. Do we really want someone like Sherwood? Jackett as far as I'm concerned as done his apprenticeship and deserves a chance at bring stability and youth to QPR! |

Somehow I think we have just wasted a few years, everyone had a go when I suggested Kenny Jackett before we signed Harry. Kenny is the future and if we sign Tim nice but dim Sherwood, I'll give in with this club! |

I haven't posted on here for nearly 2 years after getting slated about wanting Kenny Jackett, rather than Harry Redknapp. Anyway what really shocked me about Saturday's results was the squad we put out was basically the best we have and we were so poor tactically and I can't see it getting better under Chris Powell. Why QPR gave him a 3 yrs. contract is madness, I thought they wouldn't even consider a manager until the end of the season, if they had waited maybe they would have even interviewed other candidates. For me Ramsey talks a load of bullsh*t, the results are worse than we had with Harry, I give Ramsey until next Easter when we will be in the bottom 8 of the Championship! |

Well it's been nearly 2 years since I said we should have replaced Harry with Kenny Jackett, in that time we scraped back into the Premiership via the play offs against a Derby side who totally out played us for the vast majority of the match. Now we have the luxury of having the record for not winning away form home ever (10 games). Derby hold the record at 3 points for the season, we might win another honour yet. All I want to say is at the end of the season we can get rid of a lot of players due to the end of their contracts, We should go for a new manager but a young manager who has proven himself in the lower leagues, Harry and Glenn are past it. To be honest I think we are the worst team in the Prem at the present time after we spent another fortune in the summer and I can't see us surviving this year. I've supported QPR since the early 70's and even when we were in League One I was more optimistic about the team then, than the one we have now! It's a shame we have wasted so much money on poor players, especially when we were struggling with a 10m loan for years (we have paid that out on SWP wages). New manager for me! |

Wanted one ticket, would love to be cat 3 but not bothered if I'm right at the top of the stadium as long as I can get a ticket. I live near Huntingdon if anyone is local I can easily come round and pay for the ticket. Regards |

Looks like I might of been right about Kenny Jackett (manager of the month), Wolves seem dead certs for promotion and have a good young squad. I still believe we would have been in a better position if we had gone for Kenny before Harry. With Harry we have too many has beens in the squad and our squad is far too old and doesn't have the flair of a younger squad, that's why most of our games are boring to watch. Let's face it looking at the squad if you were given an option how many players would you keep if it was your choice, for me I would only keep : Green Simpson Yun Onuoha Traore Morrison (if we can get him from Wet Spam) Philips Barton (make Captain-again) Hoilett (still young and I believe can improve) Austin. The rest can go even Hill, sorry if that upsets people but, pick a team on what they can do in the future rather than the past!!! |

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/queens-park-rangers/kader-vertragsende/verein_ Light at the end of the tunnel, I’ve just been on the above website which lists the players out of contract at the end of this season; thankfully we can get rid of loads of garbage. In fact out of the 20 players out of contract I wouldn’t lose any sleep if we didn’t keep any of them. But the only 2 players I would consider keeping are:- Armand Traoré (Has pace and is still young) Alejandro FaurlÃn (Don’t know if he will ever get back to his best, but always gave 100%) Who would you keep? |
| Forum Reply | who is the worst ever qpr striker at 12:37 24 Jan 2014
For me it has to be Mike Sheron, the most expensive player we have ever bought (2.75m) until recently, and let's face it he hardly repaid any of it with goals! Mark Hateley at £1.5m another waste of space. If I had to pick a striker who I didn't expect alot from but always gave 100% effort it has to be Devon White |

I was at the game and I didn't think Henry played well at all, in fact he gave the ball away on several occasions and doesn't get stuck in like Barton. The game was 50/50 until we scored quite a few times Ipswich attacks failed when they were in good positions but totally messed it up. Can't recall Henry winning the ball and making a decent forward pass! I thought one of the main reasons for such a good win was Kranjcar holding the ball up and bringing in the midfielders. Dunne was superb at the back but needed replacing after 80mins as he was running out of steam Henry is and will always be hopeless, he's like SWP, may have a average game now and again but usually garbage, I for one wouldn't miss him when he leaves (end of contract) |
| Forum Reply | Karl Henry at 15:54 23 Jul 2013
Waste of money, are we going to play a 1-2-7-1 formation? we don't need another midfielder, if truth be told we need to get rid of a couple! Very disapointed |

If we get Crouch and Dunne and hopefully keep Remy and ditch SWP, Zamora, Ferdinand, Park, Young, Jenas, Johnson, Boswanker, Barton and Taarabat,(too many squad members), I think the squad will have a better balance, like I said earlier Granero and Faurlin looked good as a central pairing and will open most championship club defences. I think Taarabat is excellent on his day buthe has too much baggage so I feel we are better off without him. |
| Forum Thread | Not all doom and gloom against Peterborough at 11:39 15 Jul 2013
I went to the game on Saturday and didn’t think it was all doomed and gloom, granted we do have at least 5-6 high profile players who won’t add anything to our fight to get back in the Prem. The deadwood for me has to be SWP no pace no skill, worse player on the pitch Mbia no commitment Zamora must have concrete in his boots because he never jumped for the ball at all. Johnson another Darren Anderton an accident waiting to happen can’t see him lasting until Oct before getting injured. Jenas produced absolutely nothing in the game and ran about like a headless chicken. Ferdinand sorry but this guy is finished Park needs a transfer back to Asia, Mr Ferguson stitched us up good and proper! Young needs to go out on loan. Boswanker, Barton and Taarabat weren’t on the teamsheet and I doubt if any of these will ever put on a QPR shirt again. The positive points for me was Hoilett looked really good when he came on, Granero and Faurlin partnership in the midfield worked for me, we seem to play 100% better when they came together. I thought I would mention Suk-young as he did okay as well. I think if we get Crouch up front with Mackie (doing the donkey work), replace SWP on the wing, need someone to get passed the last defender and cross the ball SWP does none of these! We need another decent central defender and a striker if we get rid of Zamora and Johnson then we should be okay. Faurlin was my man of the match by a long way played the ball well and had two terrific shots from a freekick and the other from outside the box, great saves by their keeper. |

I hope they don't play, lets face it thay haven't play since they signed for us. I'm going to Peterborough with 3 others because we support QPR, I have all the time in the world for players who give 100% and maybe they arn't that good, but at least they try. For instance some might remember Bruno (signed from Cambridge United), wasn't the best but always gave 100% and scored goals or Stuart Wardley from non league again got stuck in and scored quite a lot of goals, these type of players played for pride and passion. Unlike most of our squad who biggest effort is spending the rediculous wage they get (can't say they earn it!) |
| Forum Thread | Peterborough Tomorrow at 13:27 12 Jul 2013
Going to Peterborough tomorrow, I reckon the only joy I will get out of the game will be booing Boswanker and SWP! Maybe they will get the hint and move on! Before anybody moans I've paid alot of money this past year to watch those muppets and if they can't be bothered then I feel I have the right to boo them. |
| Forum Reply | Samba Money at 12:55 3 Jul 2013
Unfortunately the vast majority of this money will go into paying off players contracts so we can get rid of them. Barton wants £3m (daily Mail), just think how much it will cost to pay off the rest of the losers or as I like to call them "Overpaid Muppets". |
| Forum Thread | Who's going to Peterborough on the 13th at 15:37 2 Jul 2013
I'm going with a couple of friends, I remember watching Shittu getting sent off at Peterborough, I think it was his debut, we also lost 4-1 I think. |
