Not to be mistaken with the Golden Shower |

The Rochdale response would be a sharp intake of ale, James |

Really hope things turn out for the better with your family You're a real asset to Dale and there could be a role that'd suit you down to the ground when things are settled |

Yes JW confirmed it's being actively pursued, the devil being in the detail For instance: if there was any possibility of the club having to move from Spotland, it'd need to be established that a Golden Share (which is essentially a block on the sale of the ground) didn't get in the way, if that was in the best interests of the club |

Three words: Club Advisory Board We're going to be hearing a lot more about it, and it'll put any issues with the Trust to bed |

I'm reassured the Ogdens, and their representatives, wouldn't allow anything detrimental to get in the way of their investment and vision for the club [Post edited 30 Jan 22:38]

Yep. As alluded to in the other thread, there's high class input into how things should progress at the club Whoever's calling the shots, it's not SG [Post edited 30 Jan 22:29]

I'll echo the panel at tonight's forum: "That's a great question, James" I'm reassured there's sufficient high class input from the Ogden side into the boardroom that the co-chairmanship won't be detrimental to the future of Dale |

100% correct Gauge has a dim view of the fanbase, which might be seen as antithetical to the stated aims of the Ogdens [Post edited 30 Jan 18:54]

I'm not one of those who've contacted the Trust, so glad i don't have to contact them again to let them know i require a reply |

Whilst welcome, it changes nothing fundamental about how the club is being run. That remains the same as it was before the disappointment of yesterday evening, and whilst it's only natural that fans will express their anger on here, it shouldn't take such an event to understand that nothing will change until we have new leadership in the boardroom [Post edited 29 Jan 19:30]

The percentage reflected the number of shares owned by those who voted The actual number count of votes wasn't issued, but still can't have been more than a handful The perception by those with the vast majority of shares that great jobs are being done by the co-chair and other directors needs to be changed. If all the Ogdens are hearing is the usual sycophants, can't blame them for not thinking otherwise... but a grip needs to be got, and perhaps if there's any "silver-lining" to be had from these postponements, they could be the catalyst needed [Post edited 29 Jan 12:49]

I wonder if the Ogdens will be represented at tomorrow's Fans Forum? These issues need to be brought into focus, front and centre The previous calls to all "get behind the club" may have been well-meaning, but circumstances have now moved on EGMs, of both the Trust and the Club, may be the only way forward in lancing boils which threaten to ruin the Ogden initiatives. Their massive majority shareholding is of little use when we can't stage football, and their awareness of the views of shareholders/fans may need to be 'revisited' The AGM of just a few weeks ago was stage-managed to minimise that possibility Edit: i was one of the very few at that AGM that voted against Pockney continuing as a director. I'd like to know what all those who voted "for" him thought he was contributing to the club? [Post edited 29 Jan 11:52]

Whilst you're there... Can you check the Ratcliffe for any dry rot, mould, loose flooring that might result in a late postponement of the Fans Forum? |

It was on Saturday, and the club may well have had no reason to think tonight would be any different I agree in general about lack of work to ensure football gets played, but sounds like the club really weren't expecting any other decision than to play [Post edited 28 Jan 18:50]

The section of pitch that's barest of grass is beyond the tryline, hence it'd hardly have been trodden on during the Hornets game The wings in general tend not to get much wear and tear during rugby |

Have to question the ref's decision Whilst the surface was 'dead' it had no effect on the course of the game. The low ball for Ayinde's goal was made from that patch without any problem about control or footing I don't see how that could've changed over the past three days, the only factor being a different ref |
