I can't argue with most of this but a couple additinal things:
If you want to see the wall, probably avoid Checkpoint Charlie as it is very touristy, instead go for a walk down the East Side Gallery.
I would also avoid the TV tower as it is really expensive. Hit up Panoramapunkt at Potsdamer Platz instead for a fith of the price and it also has the advantage that you can see the TV tower.
I really liked Hackescher Markt which is a short wallk from Alexanderplatz. Loads of nice shops, bars and resturants and generally a cool vibe.
I quite liked the GDR museum too and I regret not going to the Stasi Museum.
Finally make sure you have Citymapper installed on your phone, it makes navigating around Berlin a breeze.
Boring answer but the current national anthem is for Great Britain, Jerusalem could not be used as it mentions England by name which would upset certain areas of the country. England technically does not have a national anthem if it did it should be Jerusalem (or the theme from the Archers). Jerusalem is used in the Commonwealth games and the Cricket though.
If a player dives with intent to gain a significant advantage they may be given a dead leg by a nominated member of the opposition instead of a yellow or red card.
In 1985 I had this happen, I was 15 and my parents constantly argued, my early teens were spent hearing my mum and dad shout at each other, and worse. This was followed by one of my best mates dying (of Hodgkin's lymphoma) and then I lost the sight in my right eye leaving me partially sighted all in space of 9 months.
The other people talking about this have said it permanently changes your perception of relationships with other people (Nix, that was especially true) and I have had lifelong confidence and trust issues that stem from this period of my life. It took me years to realise how much damage this all did to me.
I'm in a good place these days and I have to remind myself how lucky I am and I actually deserve this frequently, but I always have a voice at the back of my head trying to tell me otherwise.
Luckily I support QPR so there is some stability in my....oh shit.
If you want some decent funny non league stuff I can highly recommend checking out the YouTube channel for a nice chap called Ogmios. He watches and commentates on Hackney marsh Sunday league matches but in a very chilled fashion.
