I'd be wary about him coming back as a DoF as I just don't think he has the experenece required, and he has a track record of falling out with people and clubs, but I do really like that man and look forward to watching this later.
Speaking just for me personally, though, I always worry about the long-term future of the club and the people running it. And because of those worries, some of the years where I felt most estranged from the club were actually when we had success on the pitch.
Nourry's running of the club has had me worried since the day he arrived. Worried about his abilities and worried, yet again, about the abilities of the people who appointed him.
A couple of times when we were first back in the Premier League. Home to some bogball team around Christmas time and a week or so later away to Arsenal. Football was unambitious, weather was freezing, and I felt no connection to the players whatsoever. Left both to go to the pub.

The owners, meanwhile, rarely even go to our matches.
How can they possibly draw up a list of the best Directors of Football when they're rarely at football?
