| News Comment | QPR get familiar sinking feeling by the Trent — Report at 09:00:22
Thanks Clive - Genuinely hope someone shows Ollie this match report, it definitely looks as if Warburton did better preparation for the match. We can't keep playing three at the back with Lynch and Baptiste who definitely lack a yard of pace when the other team have pacy wingers and a manager who has the intelligence to pick apart the system. It would have been easy to switch to a back four and that may just have kept us in the game |

Good report Lewis it was a great atmosphere in the ground and as other people have said it really like we had our Rangers back, total commitment for the 90 minutes, high energy and a game plan that worked. The Sylla substitution is an interesting debate,he definitely wasn't having a great game and I think he came off in the 68th minute, but we did loose a foothold in the game when he came off. The fact we didn't have a natural target man on the pitch any more seemed to make a difference, I agree Washington worked very hard as usual but he's not a lone striker and our balance seemed all wrong without that pivotal player up front. Hope Ollie manages to get a back up No9 in before the end of the month even if it's just a loan. |

On the theme of we need another hero to come riding in and save our season, how about we go cap in hand to Madrid get on bonded knee and ask Faurlin to come back. That's what's missing from our midfield and it would lift the atmosphere and create some momentum. If we don't do something smart in January then we're destined for a nasty relegation scrap. |

An absolute gem of an article, no question one of your best ever. Once the decision had been made to get rid of JFH it was always going to be tough replacing him in November, most of the potential alternatives were either in employment or didn't want the job. Good luck to Ollie hes a club legend and I didn't see any other available candidate who we could have said was definitely in line to improve our playing style. |

Thanks Clive you really are the "muts nuts" when it comes to journalism, the fact you support our football club is a massive result, to intersperse the football analysis with your humour is priceless. Really pleased you made a significant point in the article of the huge task involved this season in shifting players, reducing the wage bill whilst still retaining a team that is competitive. Many fans expectations were far too high this year, Fernandes takes a lot of stick for mainly giving too much rope to previous managers but let's give him massive credit for appointing Ferdinand and Hoos, those two are gradually giving us our club back. |

Superb article Clive as you have pointed out several times the appointment of Lee Hoos seems to be easily the best signing the Board has made, the worst being Beard who was totally clueless and only knew how to say yes to Hughes and Redknapp every time they asked for the cheque book. I am encouraged by the fact we have gone through a normal recruitment process to appoint our new Manager and it appears Hasselbank fits all the criteria needed to manage the circus. I'm happy with his appointment mainly because it's a step up career wise and he has so much still to achieve, let's keep all our expectations at a sensible level. If you compare our team to the top teams in the division the big difference is they are far more stable and their managers have imposed a much stronger work ethic, I think Warnocks got the ball rolling let's give Jimmy time to build and form a strong team. |
| News Comment | Second half rally papers first half cracks — report at 08:51:54
Great report as usual it has been interesting reading other people's views on the Blackburn first goal because from where we were sitting in R block it looked as if Smithies got both hands on the ball and was fouled, if we were not imagining those details then in anybody's book the goal should have been disallowed. The last paragraph to me is the most important when summing up the match, the combination of Henry and Toszer is not working even though we improved in the second half, how many games will it take for Ramsey to realise Henry is now a liability and he has a youth team player who could do a better job. Last season Henry looked OK in a few games in the Premiership but his career looks at the Rio Ferdinand stage now, Kenny Jackett got rid of him because of a reason and even Redcrap gave up on him, Barton as a person is without doubt a complete tosser but he was making up for Henry's deficiencies on the pitch without getting any credit. As you correctly predicted that Ref was a numb nuts of the highest order, what he needed was a linesman who had the cojones to make a decision, it certainly made an interesting atmosphere on our side of the ground |

Excellent stuff - we have all been reliving the euphoria of Wembley time and again, it seems tragic that at kick off today that is all consigned to the history books, and our own memories. Keep up the good work, it's part of the match day routine to read your previews on Saturday morning. |
| News Comment | A way to win - report at 09:36:52
Wow that was a brilliant article written by an excellent journalist, it takes a supporter of a football club to understand the entirety of the emotions and the history we have all endured makes the achievement so much sweeter. Thanks for all your reports this year, they truly encapsulate the roller-coaster ride of supporting the Hoops - here's to an interesting summer of the transfer revolving door and if we are being honest next years relegation dogfight. |
