I have worked in medical research, and been trained to take blood, and I can tell you sir that there is no section of a blood work test that records the colour and shape (hooped or unhooped) of your blood. You need to go private for that. |

My second cousin's funeral was postponed today due to the weather in Co. Antrim. If that's not inconveniencing I don't know what is. |

Let's get him under the knife this afternoon. This could pay for 3 more Ashbys. |

Implausible, but not impossible - like what you've done there - so there is a chance. We need to get him to a phlebotomist before this deal goes through. |

Honest but harsh, I think. I wouldn't fancy him either as part of a CB pairing in the PL, but I think he could do a job on the right hand side of a three. There also genuinely seems to be something in this ungainly RB role that's worth sticking with - he's been a revelation there. I'd agree a big part of his improvement is down to his character, another positive factor. So I can see the limitations too, in some ways he's often been more than the sum of his parts with us if that makes sense, but I'd say he's a good player that we'd miss greatly at the minute. |

Why would you not be fussed? There may be something I can learn from this position and apply in my own life. |

Aside from that story most likely being completely made up, I don't think he'll go. He's said before in other conversations that he loves living in West London*. He's massively connected to the club and believes things are happening here, and I know money talks but I think a deal will be arrived at. I'm finding myself in the strange situation of being unsure what areas we should look at strengthening, if we get an opportunity. Mainly out of not wanting to upset the balance. - Jimmy should 100% stay where he is, and Colback can cover there. - A Pal injury could be tricky - Fox is fine at CB but exposed at LB, so maybe the right kind of back up there? - CBs we're suddenly fine - Midfield, maybe an extra one if it comes up? Madsen for Morgan highlighted that. - A forward looked the obvious choice - probably a loan, but again that would have to be the right player. We absolutely can't go for it and fcuk ourselves financially, again. So none of them feel anywhere near as essential to me as they did 8 weeks ago. Not sure what others think? |

I'd go for the same starting 11 on Saturday, with Freya for Kolli as the only change. Illy is still playing his way back into form. |

In a play-off final you'd play your best players regardless wouldn't you? No way would you bench Cook just because it could be his final game?! I'd say the same goes for Edwards too - if he turns out to be ahead of anyone else we have, let's play him. Get our strongest team out every week and see where that takes us. Agree with that, especially the idea of things dawning on him. I still don't see the evidence for him being arrogant that other people are mentioning - have no problem being proved wrong but he doesn't mouth off at other players or wave his hands around giving advice - at least I've not seen it. If anything I think he's probably a bit overwhelmed and trying too hard to make things happen. Every simple pass last night in that short cameo was over-cooked or misplaced - he did that good dink past the defender early on and then smashed it across goal to nobody from a good position. Comes inside and gives Andy Sinton a stomach ulcer when all he had to do was keep it tight by the touchline. A long list of errors for such a short appearance. I think things are falling apart a bit for him at the minute and that's got to be hard to take when you've been sent out on loan and see your dreams dissolving after a relatively big move to Newcastle. Saying all that, I maintain the kid is not our problem. Good luck to him and I'm sure he'll get over it, I hope he turns it around at the right club next season, but we should send him back this month and let everyone move on. We've got CB options coming back so Jimmy can and should stay where he is - Colback can play there if god forbid an injury happens, and I'll bet Edwards could too in a pinch. I actually thought his touch was there when he came on last night. The ball was sticking and things were coming off - if he can get that to happen consistently he could be some player. Same with Saito - both looked up to the speed of the game right away (whatever that speed was at times), good touch, good energy. With Morrison and Cook to come back, Colback getting more minutes, the idea we have a bit of a squad at the minute is hard to get the head round. |

We seem to be focusing on getting our passing percentage stats up. A healthy 86% but probably time to have a bit more of a go at them. |

Pardon my language on this, but the season after we finished 5th I'd have liked us to have got David Batty, before he went to Blackburn. Was probably never going to happen but thought he could've added a lot. I apologise - I was young and impressionable. Another one, later on, was Ben Watson - we tried for him a couple of times I think but ended up getting him later in his career on a damp squib loan as I remember it. The hadn't list is probably too long! |

I don't want us to lose any matches, but I am very ambivalent about going up, so I know what you mean. Agree with the comments about going up and banking the money, but getting tonked every week by a load of arsehole clubs just isn't that much fun. Hopefully things would be different, and I would love to see how Marti would do at that level, might suit his style very well. So fair enough, I'll say yes - I'd just about like to go up, because I want us to win every game and have a team to be proud of, and it's not realistic or sensible to expect to win the playoff final and tell the Prem to fcuk right off. |
